This Week on the Xbox Live Arcade

War World

Major Nelson has just posted that this week's Xbox Live Arcade title will be War World and will be available for 800 Microsoft points. Almost kind of a let down after Duke Nukem 3D last week I suppose...

Woah... Hold the phones... Did I miss something here? What the hell happened to Mega Man 9!? Capcom informed us that it was due to drop this week, yet Major Nelson doesn't acknowledge it? Hopefully, he's just having a bad start to the week or he seriously dislikes Mega Man, if it's one of those, then we're happy. Let's hope there isn't a complication!

Back to War World, so what is it? Well, Xbox.com details it as:

"Control a heavily-armed assault mech and fight for supremacy against powerful opponents on the faraway planet called War World. This fast-paced third-person shooter includes three single-player game modes with a 100-level arcade style game and four multiplayer game modes, and is one big beautiful package of entertainment."

	@Comment #3: Two worlds? I guess you mean War World. Heh... Anyway, War World sounds vaguely intriguing. Enough for a demo download, anyway. But it's a very good question to ask what happened to Mega Man. Then again, Major Nelson's kind of an idiot (I don't like him very much, and I know I'm not alone), so he could've just forgot, or assumed it as known. Who knows? Not too long to find out, anyway.

	wow I really hope Mega Man is still coming... or I'm going to go d/l it on my Wii VC... thats seriously dissapointing. Very happy with Duke Nukem though so atleast that will help me get by lol

	was this game due like this time last year im sure it was? and were is megaman...dont take the P*** Microsoft PS3 users already have this we want the XBLA version this week

	I have been playing mega man all week on wii and it is so hard. I can't wait to play it for those sweet achievements. it better be coming out this week!

	Ouch that sucks if MM9 isn't going to come. I was going to get it for the 360 but booted up the wii last week and noticed i still had 1000 wii points from ages ago so just got it there! (I also couldn't wait.... :( )

	Yeah, don't care much for Nelson, either. He's just a mouth piece for M$ and he's never come off as incredibly bright. I sure hope that's why there's no Mega Man listed.

	they will probably put mega man 9 up when live copmes back up for our inconveinance, thus why war world will be the only title on live arcade day.

	major nelson is a tool...I personally thought duke was garbage, didn't hold up to time well at all imo...I wish mm9 had come last week like it was supposed to. if it's only war world this week I guess I'll get mm9 on ps3 or wii, screw the achievements, I'm excited to play it :(

	Mega Man not dropping would be a huge slap in the face to 360 exclusive gamers, considering people have already beaten the game (me being one. Sorry, I just feel so accomplished after tackling that game).

	Iwant more free arcade games again. Im sick o paying 9$ for games I can buy for old systems. Yet I still do it....Being a gamer isn't easy (Less you choose that in the option menu)
