DICE has detailed all of the improvements, tweaks and fixes it intends to implement in the retail initial version of Battlefield 4.
The studio has collated the beta data from across all systems, and has released a list of the issues it hopes to address before the game releases in a couple of weeks time.
Among these are a bunch of practical stuff like the addition of a “Legacy” controller layout similar to Battlefield 3, but there’s one “fix” in particular that made us chuckle.
It relates to the Battlefield 4 beta’s rather entertaining elevators.
"Although an interesting concept, elevators were never designed to act as a catapult or teleporter," writes community manager Vincent Vukovic in a new blog post.
"The bug where the elevator button would catapult you up into the air is fixed for the final game. But we did enjoy all the crazy videos you've posted. Thanks!"
You can see one of those crazy videos below. The full list of changes are below that.
Battlefield 4 is out on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe for current-gen. The next-gen version will be available at launch.
