Featuring the dulcet jazzy tones of Laura Ellis, this new trailer for Compulsion's interesting XBLA platformer Contrast shows the game's unique light and dark gameplay, in which shadows act as platforms when Contrast's noirish femme protagonist Dawn leaps into the lit scenery.
Blending burlesque and film noir visuals and ambiance, Contrast also boasts a "sultry" jazz soundtrack. You can hear a snippet from one of the jazz tracks "House on Fire" performed by Laura Ellis in the new trailer, taken from Contrast's original score.
Contrast is set for release in mid-November for the Xbox Live Arcade. You can take a look at the game in the trailer below.
I thought this was a PS4 exclusive?! I am pleasantly surprised it's not. Although if they allow remote play on my Vita I may nab it on that system. This looks like a great game to play on the go.
