@4 TOTALLY AGREE - doesnt really matter even the ozzies will be made up with region free, so the german board is pointlessFriday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:25 AM
Wtf they release GTA but not this, rating systems are shite including UK. I heard a kid no older than 5 in my kids school playground the other day talking about how im gonna rob you and kill U like in GTA. It should be down to individuals and bit some stupid organisation to judge but then again its parents that allow their underage kids to play these games. Its mentalFriday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:30 AM
Hmm if this is the case I better prepare for the ban in Australia, as our Board is just as fucked up.Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:31 AM
This is pointless. All a german needs to do is order one cross seas and booom playing dead rising 3. Oh god do I love the new regin free xbox.... ill beable to play alot of real good jap rpgs!!!!Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:34 AM
All Microsoft have to do is have a game with language options on. As there are no region locks on next gen Germans can still go out and buy online.Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:39 AM
so what.its region free.buy it some place elsFriday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:48 AM
#10, it's already been given an R18+ over here, mate.Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 04:48 AM
Way to treat your citizens as kids. Fair enough, if its 18, then don't let kids plat it. But if you are mature enough, you know its not real, and know not to copy it. At least a German can go and buy it online.Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 05:53 AM
As most said you can go region free and buy it from any other country in Europe and ship it there. But general population won't do that most will sit complaining when they go to pick it up and dr3 isn't available. Or someone will tell them to wait for the ps4 version (which isn't coming as its been confirmed but every time I talk to someone about this game or titanfall its mentioned)Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 06:11 AM
We in Germany can buy the Austrian PEGI Version which also has German language. So, we can play it in our language, but we will not get DLCs.Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 07:28 AM
Great and here we go again. I live in Germany and I gotta say the USK got some real issues, screw them!!!Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 08:04 AM
@14...Just like SRIV was until it got banned, edited and reclassified MA15+...I assume the German classification board are run by the same dinosaurs that run the Australian classification board...Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 09:07 AM
@17 You need a Australian Profile mate. Buy the DLC in your console with that account and it should work for everyone on that console.Friday, October 11, 2013 @ 09:52 AM
Well... why is it being denied a rating then, dear old germany? What is the excuse? Does it take it's self to lightly, to much silly humour? I honestly want to know their reasoning. What, because you can craft items, do you think that people are all suddenly going to start crafting and using these items? You know... things that anyone could already do if they wanted... It doesn't matter though, because as others have said, things are now region free, so someone who wants the game will just ship it over sea's simply. So, the ratings board doesn't win anything here but hate :)Saturday, October 12, 2013 @ 09:24 AM

To all these patronizing boards from all over the world, I have only this to say: Dinosaurs will die.

Dead Rising 3 - like Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 before it - won't be released in Germany, having been denied an age rating by the country's rating board, the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle. Microsoft later confirmed the news.
"Dead Rising 3 will not be released in Germany as part of the Xbox One launch line-up on Nov. 22 having been unable to attain an age-rating upon review by BPjM (Bundeprüfstelle für jugendgefährende Medien), the country’s entertainment software self-regulation body," a Microsoft spokesperson told Destructoid.
"While Microsoft is disappointed with this decision, we respect the views of the review panel and have withdrawn Dead Rising 3 from Germany’s Xbox One launch line-up. Dead Rising 3 will still be available in all other launch markets on 22 November 2013. Beyond that, we have no further comment.”
Dead Rising 3 will launch in the rest of Xbox One's launch markets on November 22nd.
