Infinity Ward to Take on COD6 Written Tuesday, September 16, 2008 by Dan Webb No real surprises here, but it's really comforting to know that Activision confirmed to IGN that fan favourites, Infinity Ward are taking the realms for Call of Duty 6. Whether this is the new sci-fi FPS title that was rumoured earlier on in the year remains to be seen. We're hoping it won't be and that rumour is a new IP. I just can't imagine the Call of Duty series moving in to the realms of space and beyond. Until then, you can always take a look at Call of Duty: World at War which is set for a November 11th release in North America and November 14th in Europe. | |

He got a hands on with the new Cod game in co-op and he said it was awesome. And everyone one knows that the third one wasn't all that good but still playable. I believe that the next one in the series is what we played at the end of Cod 4. A kind of remake of the old rainbow six series but a lot better. I guess we shall see when it gets closer to next year. |

COD4 is meant for death match and the like, which is fine. Its a different direction than BC. COD4 is so funny because you can actually talk to other people..and that brings up interesting..conversations.. COD5, I will give a shot..Wasn't a fan of COD3, owned it, never played it. |

I have had so many insane moments in BF BC. There nothing more fun than seeing your team blowing out bridges to stop the enemy's advance or being inside a building that is in the thick of an air strike. BF BC on-line gameplay is extremely intense and will often have insane firefights. The distant gunshots ambiance is actually created by the fights on the front. Call of Duty has now become a "Quantity over Quality" Franchise and thus lost my eye. The only bright star in the COD franchise was COD United Offensive. Foy is the best map ever in any COD. The Tanks, the large levels, the Base Assault mode was a perfect mixture. |

It was and still is one of the most played online shooters.
