Capcom has launched a sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace, slashing prices on a whole range of games and DLC, including Asura's Wrath, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry and the Lost Planet series.

You can also grab Super Street Fighter IV at a reduced price ahead of the updated Ultra Street Fighter IV coming in early 2014, as well as one of the complete costume packs at half price. Bear in mind all of the DLC costumes will be included on the Ultra Street Fighter IV disc when it launches, but won't be included with the digital download update.

Dark Void and Lost Planet Colonies are also worth a look at a few quid/bucks apiece, whereas Capcom Arcade Cabinet offers a whole lot of retro gaming fun on the cheap. Bear in mind offers vary by region. Take a look at the whole list below:

  • I want Re 5 untold stories dlc bundle but it's not available for my region :(
  • Any recommendations here? Nothing caught my eye when I skimmed the list but I've never played any of these.
  • It's a shame about the Lost Bundles DLC, it's a great deal but not if you've bought one of the two DLC chapters. Only need Desperate Escape so hard to justify over spending for it.
  • @4 It's a trap!
  • @5 the episodes are the real ending to the game
  • RE5 is $5 on Steam. But DLC is not available for Steam. Hmmm.....
  • RE5 on PC doesn't have any DLC. Pure 1000G :)
  • Microsoft really need to learn from Steam. I never hear about people throwing their wallets at Xbox Summer Sales.
  • Resi 5. Its one of the few games that still uses System Link. I can play with my gold account signed in on xbox 2 while other person can use a silver account to play it on the main xbox, for one 9.99 digital dl. You got my money, Capcom.
  • #9 They never made the dlc for pc, the pc version only has the original 1000G
  • glad to see asura's wraith part iv onsale for 50% off aswell as umvc 3 and ssfiv arcade GoD's onsale :).
  • I never found asura's wrath for less than 10$. Maybe more recently, but I bought mine for PS3 a couple months back, and this seems like a great deal. Can't recoment that game more, especially for anime fans. It's basically what would happen if goku and kratos had a baby. It's the same guys that do the naruto storm games, though they're not exactly alike, it gives you some idea of what to expect.
  • Shame the megaman games weren't on this list, I've been tinkering with purchasing one of them for a while.
  • I might finally pick up Asura's Wrath, enjoyed the demo; never got around to the full game. Thoughts ?!?
  • @18 They are both 400 msp. This list is incomplete. WWW.xbldb.com , click the price decrease subsection.
  • OMG!!!!!!! I WANT...none of the games on this list....
  • Decent game I am sure, but none of them interest me enough to pay for. :/
  • Aaaggghhh! Too much to choose from and not enough points. I'm tempted by the arcade cabinet and Asuras Wrath. Plus there's the Assassins Creed 3 season pass on sale. Next you'll be telling me that Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC is half price as well.
  • picking up resident evil 5 is a mistake. even for a 5 year old game its terrible. there has not ever been a good (original)resident evil game on the 360. i wont include re 4 or the 3ds reboot in there. well who am i kidding. when the best game in a franchise on a console is a port of a handheld game, there has never been a good game from said franchise on the console. lost planet colonies would be great deal, except the online takes ages and ages to complete.
  • I might go with colonies since I never finished the game from 2008.
  • @20 -=Mass Respect=- never knew of that website *smiles*
  • Dar Void is worth a purchase. Already played it, but the achievements are pretty easy. Overall, its a good game, and worth a play.
  • already got RE5 Gold Edition (all DLC) and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition free on PS+ last year. still trying to figure out how $15 for a digital copy of a game thats been out for years is a "deal"
  • Being a HUGe CAPCOM fan, I already own most of this but I'll pick up UMVC3 to have it on my hard drive. Wish vanilla sf4 was part of this sale, I'd like to buy that digitally but Im not spending $20 on a game no one plays anymore.
  • you can get every single one of these games cheaper on eBay
  • For Asura's Wrath, Episode Pack Part 4 is actually the true ending of the original game. Capcom sold it seperate to make extra money on the game, it also has achievements. Episodes 11.5 and 15.5 are basically filler episodes done in a totally different art style to the rest of the game and add nothing to the experience. I would recommend anybody to avoid them and get the Part 4 pack. Also there are two other DLCs which are street fighter crossover episodes that don't appear to be on this sale, they also have achievements too.
  • Typical... Just two days ago I bought ALL the Asura's Wrath DLC... If anyone is thinking about picking that game up, DO IT. I'm absolutely loving it. :) Own almost all of these as, like @29, I'm a CAPCOM fan... Except UMVC3, might get this at this price...
  • Arcade cabinet - I just bought this Two weeks ago. 2000msp plus 400msp and now its half price?!?!?!?!? Don't you just hate it when that happens..........
  • never bought RE5 versus mode because it was complete shit but its whats keeping me from completing it 100%, 200 microsoft points isnt so bad for this
  • Can someone tell me more on capcom cabient?i never heard of it thanx
  • Devil May Cry 4 is $4.99 USD
  • @31 Thank you! I took your advice and got Part IV only. That's exactly what I was reading the comments for.
  • You think lost planet colonies and lost planet 2 would be a good buy? Also you think people will start playing the multiplayer again because of how cheap the game is?
  • Asura's Wrath is a fun, different experience. If you like brawlers and anime and you don't mind doing quick reaction events for half the game I recommend you get it.
  • Ok I picked up Asuras Wrath and was wondering should I pick up Lost Planet 2 or Dark Void?
  • Awesome, been wanting to get Asura's Wrath for a while now.
  • @11: While I agree that the Steam sales are usually much better, MS has picked it up lately and done a good job. The last month or so had some pretty good sales on GoD titles and if you've been oblivious to it then of course you haven't seen people throwing their money at these sales. Granted I think they're only doing this sale, not to compete with Steam but because we know that these games are non-transferable to the Xbox One.
  • Bought Asura's Wrath since it's still $30 on disk. Thinking about Lost Planet 2 if I can get a few friends to get it to coop.
  • Loved 1980's arcades back when I was a kid but this made me wondering if it is worth a purchase to get Capcom Arcade Cabinets? 200 ms points and 1000 ms points, not a bad deal since I had been waiting for deal of the week on this.
  • Re5 DLC for me.
  • @43 with friends, Defunitely worth a buy. I don't recommend it as a sp title, as the story is a complete joke. Nothing remotely as good as the first. Also beware its basically impossible to 1k
  • not mentioned in the list is the costume pack for UMVC3 for 800 MSP
  • Can anyone tell me how much 1 990,00 Ft is? I have a Hungarian account and have about 668,00 Ft on the account left over from the Ultimate Sale. Looking to purchase UMVC3, if it is cheaper than US.
  • I'm pissed that Resident Evil 4 HD Edition isn't on sale and I bought Street Fighter 3 Online Edition two weeks ago. Goddamn it Capcom!
  • @48 you have about 300msp I think. I think me caught on to everyone doing that. All games are similar prices everywhere.
  • Third Strike is also 300 MSP ($3.75 US). Having bought it last night, hours before the sale, for 1200 MSP, you can imagine I was a bit pissed. On the chat with a representative; they've been more than willing to reimburse me. Good times~.
  • I highly suggest getting Asura's Wrath during this sale since it's cheaper than the disc (I got mine for $15, but only cause it was on sale). The game is visually beautiful and has an amazing soundtrack (if you've played .Hack G.U. and liked the soundtrack, then you'll love this). Also the achievements aren't super hard but you'll have to play the game at least 2-3 times to get them all. The game's flaw though is that it's more cutscene than movie, but if you can look past that, I think it's worth the purchase. On that note, I may pick up Resident Evil 5 since it's fun to play with a friend in my opinion :)
  • Resident Evil 5 and Untold Stories is highly recommended if you haven't played that game yet. Some DLC brings you back to Spencer's Mansion from Resident Evil 1.
  • Decisions decisions. Do I buy Jill and Shuma Gorath for a total of 400 Microsoft points or Final Fight Double Impact? I think I'll pick the latter. At least I'll know I'm actually downloading something.
  • That's a good buy for Resident Evil 5... shame I already have it & the DLC for it already though :( But still got the GoD version of SSFIV: AE during the sale. But I hadn't had a chance to play it yet -- anyone know if it's just the vanilla version of SSFIV that I bought or is the AE content already with it? Hadn't been able to find too many answers on that lately.
