Dont get me wrong, the single player looks very impressive, as in the graphics etc but i play battlefield for multiplayer! I can imagine alot of people would agree

I can't wait for this game. I just haven't pre-ordered yet because I want to find out if I can pre-order this game as a digital download for xbox one and still get the pre-order bonus...I don't plan on ever trading a game like this in, it is always fun to go back to battlefield.

@2 No, just negative boring comments from pessimistic gamers for the 100th time running.
OT: Cant wait to get my hands on this. Have lost so many hours to BF3 and having a more involved single player will only be a good thing.

Battlefield's strength is the variety of weapon, vehicles etc.. not sure why they took away all that choice when it came to the BF3 single player, so i welcome this news.

I have loved every battlefield game. Single player and multiplayer. I'm sure that this will NOT be a disappointment.
Can't wait to get it

I love that idea. That's what was so fun about BC, kind of gave a Crysis 1 feel - tackle these objectives in whichever way you see fit. I miss that.
Finally got around to reserving this, Forza 5, and Dead Rising 3 for the XB1 last night.

I really hated BF3 (not an MP guy, never even played the MP). Easily the worst campaign out of all the BF games so far. Shit, I sold it after beating the campaign in 3 sittings.
That said, I LOVED Bad Company, so if they go more towards that direction, I'm 100% down with that. I'm still fencing on this game. I know I'll end up getting it, so... yea.

To each their own, but the multiplayer is the bread and butter of any Battlefield game. It makes up for 80% of the game, and if you've never even attempted the multiplayer, you are missing out. If you can get some friends together, it's quite the fun, engaging and unique experience.

The first Battlefield single player mode was great - Really enjoyable and refreshing . The second - poor, short and ludicrous. And the last - utter shite.
Whilst the lickers here may want to quote 'negativity' from others, fan based immature adulation doesn't change the fact that the single player mode quality has gone significantly worse with each game.
Medal of Honor is another game series were the EA/Dice interference has yielded negative results in a sequel.
Sadly with a lot of the major franchises recently there has been a perceivable slide in the quality of the products. Look at the two recent turds of COD and Gears.
In addition - is it not obvious here on these forums the fact that people are just reflecting an overall disappoint as long term Xbox players with the utter farce that is Microsoft's handling of the Xbone launch and hardware.
If things are crap - they're crap. Only by highlighting the fact will the industry be encouraged to improve the products they release.

Well it sounds promising. Especially when you need to train on that zeroing stuff with the sniper rifle. Well or counter knifing, not that crap in BF3 single or coop play if you run up to an enemy he automatically stabs you. Totally going to take the stealthy approach.

@11, 12 I agree I am mostly a single player type, I enjoyed Bad Company 2 way more than BF3. I put a little time into BF3 multiplayer.. It is pretty fun with friends.
I figure, I paid for the game.. should probably check out everything it has to offer.

Why even bother with a single player campaign. Boring and totally stale just concentrate time and resources on MP and do us all a favour
