im only a 1hour drive away from there but with the queue of people waiting there it would take forever.i wish they only gave out free petrol to gamers on this occassion rather than everyone as they wouldnt appreciate it from the game. |

That is awesome, and is a really great idea. For the guys over in America, petrol (gas) here costs £1.15 per litre, which is about $12 per gallon. With the average tank full costing £50 here, that's more than the cost of the game (£40). Looks like the Londoners have got a bloody good deal today! |

UPDATE UPADATE UPDATE
This promotion has now been shut down by the local police force. Approximately 6700 customers got free petrol and around £10,000 worth of petrol was given away. The promotion was open for a total of four hours and tailbacks (queues) went for miles and miles. The local councils had hundreds of complaints within minutes as it completely halted all traffic in the area.

EA did the same thing in L.A., which is decent of them I guess. I would have liked to see them put this money to better use and actually hire out some QA so it wouldn't have been released with so many bugs. |

This is a cool stunt and the game is just amazing, one of the best games I've played in a long while. Way better than GTA 4. Only thng that could top this may be Just Cause 2. |
