Force Unleashed Graphic Novel In Stores This Week

Force Unleashed Graphic Novel In Stores This Week
Written Monday, August 18, 2008 by Alan Pettit

This should be in most normal book stores as well as comic book specialty stores. It will be 104 pages for the retail price of $15.95 in softcover graphic novel form. Here is the official write-up from the publisher Dark Horse Comics:

"LucasArts' game The Force Unleashed, is poised to be the Star Wars event of the year. The game-play promises to be stunning, but we think it's the story that will blow you away.

Revealed here are the origins of Darth Vader's secret apprentice, the deadly missions on which he was sent to track down and destroy Jedi, and the awesome decision he is forced to make that will, literally, change the way you look at the
Star Wars saga!

Scripted by the game's author, Haden Blackman, this graphic novel can be enjoyed alone, or as a companion to the amazing new game."

I'm assuming you're trying to be a smartass and mock the industry, but if not and you're just ignorant to the terms... this is not a comic book, it is a graphic novel. The length, format and fact that it is a stand-alone story are what makes it a GN rather than a normal comic.

Duuuuuuude. Ignoring the fact I don't read those. I may pick this one up just for the Star Wars nerdy collection :)

Looks good to me. Might get this. Not usually tempted by graphic novels, but the game looks brilliant and so if this explains the story or anything it will be worth picking up

i've got a few graphic novels gonna add this to the collection especially if i'm not impressed with the demo, then i want to know the story and how it plays out, i hope the demo rocks though.

Not so sure I want to read this yet if it's going to give away the story before I play the game.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
