  • Buying this game is a great investment, it will only get better :)
  • Finally different coloured planks!
  • Yay! I'll play this game for 10 mins and get bored again!
  • I can't wait to play it, been looking forward to this update for a while now. :)
  • @3 Maybe if you had an imagination or some creativity you'd enjoy this game
  • @1 it's entirley possible this is the last update, they said a while back they'd stop updating it soon
  • No new achievements? I would of loved one for killing the ender dragon and others for new things they added..
  • @6 I dissagree, the PC version has fireworks and bats so its only right the Xbox version gets it too.
  • @7: Ehhh, I'm good with no new achievements. I got my 20 and now I'm back to Minecraft PC.
  • @6, they wont be, after the success of the console edition, they wont be stopping it's updates, it would be foolish to do so, instead, we'll be going on a different path from the pc version, getting specific things that the default pc version doesn't have. The console edition has a long way to go yet, provided microsoft get their head's out of their arse's and don't stop them.
  • I downloaded this earlier and I love it but it says that the lighting code performance has improved but has really made it worse. Other than that I love it.
  • Woot for 4J
  • Noticed the lighting hasn't changed much either and climbable vines don't work.
  • I would really love to see them release some texture packs. Unlike the skin packs, I'd actually drop some money on them.
  • @14 4J said they were interested in doing that in the near future
  • Are there no new chevos because this is free content not paid for content? I know M$ have weird rules but there could be some amazing chevos, me and mates after a 4 day MC binge said they should have had 1 for breaking 1'000'000 blocks lol.
  • hopfully in the next big update they add jungle biomes, jungle and desert temples, emeralds and ender chests :)
  • @10 I wouldn't be so positive about that. Notch said from the very beginning that Microsoft only gave them a limited number of free updates, and they had to fight to even get that. That's not to say the updates will stop; but we may have to start paying for them. Though personally, I imagine the next xbox will have a brand new version of Minecraft anyway. With better hardware, comes bigger worlds. It would be nice to fool ourselves into thinking MS wouldn't jump on the opportunity to sell Minecraft again, and allow it to be added in an update, but I wouldn't take any bets.
  • Great to see a new update, hope there is more to come. Didn't know much about minecraft before buying it so the updates over the months have made the game well worth the money.
  • I'm really loving the support this game is receiving, anything to keep me coming back to playing this awesome game!
  • @18, oh i can garantee that Microsoft will do the same thing that the PS4's done, rendering everything you've bought worthless to the next gen and forcing you to buy it all again. Minecraft will continue though, they may haggle something, or pay for it even, think it'd see an increase if they updated a online search function, plus share function.
  • @6 They have NEVER said that! Minecraft Xbox360 Edition is going to be updated until it is equivalent to PC 1.2.5. After that 4J will continue to update but adding their own content instead of following the PC. Popular PC features are still likely to be added. They have never said they will stop updating.
  • Spawn eggs don't work nor do climbing vines. Lighting is broken too. Well, at least some things have worked I suppose.
  • 10: They might not update it anymore. I believe Microsoft game Mojang nine free updates to Minecraft, and after that, I believe each update costs $75,000. This being update 9, it may be "The End."
  • Keep me coming.
  • meh im having more fun on terraria than i ever had on minecraft... wayyy more player/character progression in terraria..
  • @24, no way they'd end it without fixing bugs that have been brought up with TU9. And given their plans to include texture packs, they've mentioned them many times, as well as their plans to include 'mods' in the game as payed dlc. This isn't going to be the end, one way or another, it wont be the end.
  • @23 Really ? That sucks :/ Everything in the new update is working just fine for me so it can't be affecting everybody :O
  • And now let's discuss the elephant in the room... Will it work on the neXtBOX?
  • @23 Are you pressing LT to spawn the enemies?
  • @23, spawn egg's don't work? They've worked perfectly for me so far personally, both spawning by hand and spawning from dispensers. Does anyone know the absolute spawn limit that you can spawn at a single time with the spawn egg's. My first wave based arena has no issues spawning, but could do with knowing the limit so I don't make waves to big.
  • i love this game. also if anybody gets the chance try feed the beast mod for this game. all and all glad to see all the updates. maybe a texture pack update soon?
  • no bs one night me and my brothers were up all night playing this doing absolutely nothing it's a super addictive game glad I stopped I was tired a lot if I didn't have my son to take care of I think I would have ended up sleeping for days
