But dynasty warriors aren't being released on xbox anymore. I was sure they confirmed that we weren't getting DW8 like we didn't get 7xl or 7 empires. I hope to god I'm wrong and we are getting it they put so much effort in this game looks great.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:13 AM
Omg can't wait!!! F***ing love these games. Been playing them since the very first Dynasty Warriors :)Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:17 AM

I'm hoping they also release the other DW7 side games on xbox. I can never get enough of these damn games! Also, who the he'll thought it was a good idea to make Samurai Warriors 3 a wii exclusive? I'm still waiting for that game to make its way over to xbox.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:22 AM
Never played any of these type of 'Dynasty' games until I picked up Warriors Orochi 3 last year & found it to be quite enjoyable... a very charming traditional game IMO. Will keep an eye out for this one.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:23 AM
I want a vs mode for this one.. PvP would be cool.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:24 AM
Can't wait, hell sure it will be spammed by critics as always but there something excitingly fun about this franchise. Over the top mindless action, Can't Wait @1 I see what you did there, Nice joke unfortunately Franchise lovers didn't liked you much :PWednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:25 AM
No thanks.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:29 AM
I hope they give Gan Ning his pirate sword back.. He is one of my fav characters and I didn't like his new weapon in 7 that much...Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:31 AM
@10 the game is already out overseas and you can check all the weapons out. Good news you can give gan ning a sword the dw7 style is back. Bad news he has a ball on a chain for a main weapon now.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:31 AM
Awh man, awesome! I really enjoy this series, ever since I was a little boy,Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:35 AM
Glad to see we have xbox version here, which will never release in japan.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 10:48 AM
EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS "The eighth main installment in the hack n' slash series will release on both PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as feature both English and Japanese vocal tracks" Now i remember why i always buy Koei games full price. They really are too good to their fans. Putting a game on a console that doesn't exactly sell a lot and then give them back their English va's which cost money as well as giving us the Jap va. God bless Koei.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 12:16 PM
Yes! I was worried that it wouldn't be on Xbox 360.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 01:01 PM
Awesome news. :-)Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 01:06 PM
Loved the second one. Still enjoy playing them, but have lost interest little by little. Hopefully 8 brings some changes/upgrades. Going to play it regardless!Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 01:42 PM

Cant wait, the graphics look amazing!Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 02:08 PM
A next gen Dynasty Warriors, a million enemies on screen at once, like 30 REAL player controlled allies, or fucking 24v24 battles! OH! OH!Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 02:13 PM
I can't wait for Dynasty Warriors 9,10,11,12 and 17 to be released by the end cycle of the x360.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 03:45 PM
This game is looking awesome. Graphics and all.. But one thing I noticed in one of the pics.. It looks look Sima Yi has a "feather duster" for a weapon -___- are you kidding me... The fan was better.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 03:56 PM
please tell me that crap Renbu system is not in this one??? I love this franchise but DW6 stoppped me buying DW7 which buy many accounts is the best in the series? This sounds like a step in the right direction for DW theres so much potential here. Cant believe Im still playing these games from all the waqy from its humble beginings on PS1 back in back in 1997 lol.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 03:56 PM
@1 Well get lost then! Shoooo! @2 as #14 said all of this confirmed in a Koei podcast it will be on 360 with English dubbing in it :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YizvxLoDoUw also more details on Koei's facebook page. Pretty Cannot wait for this! Loved this series since I got my PS2 and even though I acknowledge it's repetitive nature I can't help but love this series because of the era and the story.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 04:40 PM
lol only game that can be made over 1 thousand time I will never get bored lol make another call of duty I'm bored before the day I get it ends lol Dynasty Warriors is awesomeWednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 05:56 PM
These games were hella' awesome on split-screen back in the days of PS2. I need to get a DW/SW for Xbox.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 06:30 PM
@24 The terrible Renbu system has been gone since 6. People raged cause that system was terrible and they took away many people's iconic weapons. When fans raged about it Koei brought back almost all of the weapons they took away and changed the combat system back to how it used to be. 7 was great and I'm sure 8 will be too.Wednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 07:19 PM
@28 I'm just glad it is coming to 360 outside Japan. We missed out on Xtreme Legends and Empires, so was a little worried when they said this was only for PS3 in Japan. Now I just hope they have English voices in this as opposed to the Japanese only in Warriors Orochi 3. I know some of you hate the voices, but I'd like to know what the hell is going on during a battle without having to look down every few minutes. XDWednesday, April 03, 2013 @ 09:38 PM
@29 ya, I wish they'd stop going back and forth on what versions are on what systems and just put them all on all systems. The English voices are nice too, I don't really mind either way but a lot of people do.Thursday, April 04, 2013 @ 04:44 AM
Hearing news of this made my day now my summer is all full apart from June and I'll definitely enjoy this at lot more now that it has English voices :DThursday, April 04, 2013 @ 02:42 PM
I want another Samurai Warriors badly

Dynasty Warriors 8 will launch in Europe on 12th July and in North America on 16th July, Tecmo Koei has announced.
The latest version of the game offers up several "What If" scenarios, providing alternate takes on history, exploring “what could have happened if famous characters had lived to fight another day.” The story now branches as a result, giving players the opportunity to view different endings.
Dynasty Warriors 8 takes place across over 40 new stages, encompassing “verdant plains, desolate wastelands, sharp ravines, huge castles, and other breath-taking sites.” There’s also a choice of over 70 playable characters, including Yue Jin and Li Dian from the Wei Kingdom who make their first appearance in the series.
To accompany the announcement, Tecmo Koei has released a million screens. You can see a selection below and there’s more in the gallery.
