It would be cool if you could unlock the original Giana Sisters game, the one that got killed by Nintendo for being a Super Mario clone, but I guess they're afraid of big N lawsuits...
Still got my Commodore 64 & Amiga Giana Sisters boxed up somewhere, pure nostalgia :) |

| Giana Sisters is a great game with a good soundtrack. However, it's STUPID LEVELS OF DIFFICULT. You will be spending a LONG time on these games if you're concerned with 100%ing games. I just gave up on the PC because it was just too difficult to master. |

Hahahaha Giana Sisters is look like mix of Sonic, Super Mario and some Sci-Fi Platformer games. :)
Alien Spidy is cute and challenge platformer.
I will buy Alien Spidy in later date over Giana Sisters because I busy on God of War: Ascension today and GoW Judgement and The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct tomorrow. :)
XBLA titles have be hold for later date now for me. :) |

| Alien Spidy's maps look damn near exactly like Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. Not that it's bad, but it does kind of feel like they got a bit lazy making the game. |

| Didn't like the demo of Spidy at all. Giana was better but I got stuck in a wall on the second level so had to turn off. Will wait for a reduction in price I think. |

@#12 - Wait, did they seriously not fix that glitch? Depending on what wall, I got stuck in one in the demo for the PC version long before it came out. But when it happened, the graphics exploded.
@#5 - Games has over 23 levels, has bosses and is hard to get 100% with the gem collecting.
As in, it will definitely "last". But okay. |

@#12 - Nevermind, it's not the level from the Steam demo that I thought, so that's some other wall glitch. I didn't experience it.
My issue with the demo is that it doesn't tell you how to to the Twirl as Cute Giana or the Fireball thing as Punk Giana, which I imagine you learn in levels in the main game, but they should have had, you know, a Controller Layout screen to inform you.
Anyway, glad it was different levels from the previous demo, so it was cool. |

As with #4 my initial reaction was "How are they releasing a Giana Sisters game when I thought the original was pulled from the shelves after the legal issues with Nintendo"
It looks like the series evolved since the original all those years ago, however I'm not so sure about the 1200msp price tag... |

Interested in Giana Sisters as I saw it was one of the games that made it through Steam Greenlight system (Which doesn't mean much, but hey.....when's Routine coming out?)
will download Alien Spidy and give it a punt even though I have zero expectations. |
