Halo: Uprising #3 In Stores This Week

Halo: Uprising #3 In Stores This Week
Written Monday, August 11, 2008 by Alan Pettit

Halo: Uprising is a 4-issue mini-series being published by Marvel Comics.

Issue #3 will be in stores this week. Here is the official solicit from Marvel:

"The Earth is burning!!! Humans are running for their lives, caught in a war they did not start. How can two star-crossed lovers find their way to happiness when everything and everyone they knew is being destroyed around them?? And will the Master Chief discover the mysterious “key” that could end the war in time to save what is left of humanity? The story---bridging blockbuster video game Halo 2 and the highly anticipated sequel Halo 3---is here courtesy of Eisner Award winning team of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev (New Avengers, Daredevil)."

-----------------------------------------

This has been really good. The series has been extremely delayed though (Brian Michael Bendis is in the middle of a very huge event in the Marvel Universe, so this title is not at the top of Marvel's priority at the moment), but they recently released a "Must-Have" edition, collecting the first two issues which are both completely sold out. You may still be able to get the Must-Have version along with issue #3 this week. I highly recommend it.

All comics are gay. To be honest I don't understand this Halo obsession anyway, I mean it was a decent game, but who cares?

@ 7.

Halo is probably the second best FPS to ever hit the consoles. And the comic books are awesome so I don't know what you are talking about.

I honestly don't know why I read any Halo related news anymore because of all the negativity people push on it.

I for one am excited for this.

@ 10, I totally agree Odysseus.

Kiwi, you must have absoulutly no life. But im quite impressed youve managed to read every comic ever made(seeing as you said all comics are gay,) and still have time to play video games. I probably havnt read a comic in over 6 or 7 years. But I loved them as a kid. And comics are responsible for some of the most amazing characters weve ever seen. Ive heard this is an awesome read from many people, I hope I can find them somewhere so I can check em out. All comics are not gay. Wreckless babbling from the mouth, now thats gay!

Bout time. This 4 issue comic is taking forever. But I am still getting it. Plus it gives me a reason to go pick up the new Dark Tower comics.

Its pretty sad for someone who hates Halo to not only click on the link and read the story, but then spend time to write out a comment? Get a life >_>

Anyway I hope this is released in the UK soon :3

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
