Gears of War 3 wrapped up the Gears saga, paving the way for a prequel to take us back to where it all started. That's where Gears of War: Judgment comes in, portraying the trial of Damon Baird, Augustus Cole and the rest of Kilo Squad as they stand trial for war crimes.
Meanwhile, E-Day erupts around them and the Locust commence their attack on mankind. This is how it all began. But is Baird a leading man to match Marcus Fenix? Is the unlockable Aftermath campaign a worthwhile bonus? Have Epic and co-developer People Can Fly expanded multiplayer in any meaningful way?
Does the Gears franchise go out with a bang or with a whimper?
