At least they don't give any kind of advantage over a regular user who doesn't want to pay extra. That's when microtransactions are wrong, when you gain an unfair advantage by buying something (weaponry, equipment, etc.) not originally in the game for everyone else. This kind of stuff, I have no issues with. |

"Damn, this weapon isn't as good as it needs to be. You know what'll make it better: wrap it in bacon!" SAID NOBODY EVER! What a stupid thing to charge for! Couldn't think of anything even remotely useful to introduce, so they do that!. What bellends! I'm glad I gave up on Call of Duty 4 titles back, if I'd known the money I did spend on past games was going to be used to fund ideas like this I'd have demanded a refund! |

@#21 - Good point! Could be a reference in there. @#10 and everyone else saying these things are our choice and not forced upon us - This is the way things are going and it may not be good! It'll be all this free-to-play stuff, but it'll go extreme. Go and buy a disk, get it home.... Can't do anything until I've paid for something else. Even if we go all digital the games companies are just going to find other ways of squeezing a few more pennies out of us! I don't know what's going to happen, but I feel pretty anxious about the way the industry is heading! |

I'm fine with all of these, except for charging for the extra Theater and Create-a-Class slots. That shit should be free. If people want to pay to wrap their gun in bacon though that's cool, but I'd rather stick with my Diamond Camo. |

This is so fucking wrong. F2P game? Sure micro-transactions ahoy. A game people payed full price for plus 2000 ms points for the maps and then adding more shit you can't unlock in game but have to buy? I wish i could say i don't even care at this point but it bugs me greatly. A lot of people will buy these and it will become the norm in the next game. bye bye decent unlockables. |

| @49 I can understand how they made your reorder less valuable but they could do what everybody else does and charge five bucks a shot for each separate preorder incentive a month after the game releases. Instead due to people bitching about not having Nuketown they're giving it out for free. Also if you think paying for things that have no impact on gameplay is bad why don't you try to play one of those "free" Korean rpgs. "Free" at least in that you can download the game and make a character and then pay to actually enjoy play the game. Funny how pc gamers didn't bitch about Guild Wars 2 having a paid cosmetic item shop. All console fanboys need to stop bitching about stuff like this and start bitching about stuff like EA giving out paid booster packs for classes that shit ain't fare when rich kids can get everything that you have to work for. |
