For any who don't know, Defiance is a TV Show being made by Syfy, the game is partnered with the show, one is not a promotion/product of the other, but it's more like they work in unison, actions in the television show are said to be seen in the game, and vice-versa, but I'm not sure how it all works.
Apparently the show takes place in one city, while the game takes place in another.

The show is going to be mostly taking place in the ruins of what once was St. Louis. I believe that is where the "town" of Defiance from which the show and game takes it name is located.
(funny side note, there actually is a town either in St. Charles county or St. Louis County called Defiance...Me and my family once got lost there driving around when I was little)
From what I understand the game is going to start you in the area of San Francisco. Not sure how much traveling around from there you will be doing.

No one but you thought that "season pass" meant "online pass" or "monthly fee." Season pass means discounted DLC in gamer lingo and has for years now. Thanks though?
The graphics in this game are horrible. I need to play the beta some more. Last time I played it was not good at all - might have changed by now. |
