Tomb Raider has clamered to the top of the UK Xbox 360 charts, becoming this year’s biggest launch in the process.

It squashed the opposition too, selling more than double that of Aliens: Colonial Marines, which was the previous leader in terms of launch week sales. Heck, it even sold double that of Tomb Raider: Legend, which was the last attempt to reboot the franchise. All of which is great news for Squeenix.

Meanwhile, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 slips into second place, proving yet again the popularity of the manga series.
