Yes, it's another one of those 'trailer for a trailer' deals as Ubisoft has today released a teaser video for the return of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, which had pretty fallen off the radar since our first look at the game at an event in Paris back in September of last year.

Now, it's very much back on the radar, with Ubisoft promising a new reveal trailer on March 14th, showing Silas Greaves' old west adventure that will pay homage to the classic mythology of the Wild West era, with legends like Pat Garret, Billy the Kid, Jesse James and Butch Cassidy.

Check out the Call of Juarez: Gunslinger teaser video and five new screenshots below. You can also read our first look preview to find out more about the game. Keep your eyes peeled for the reveal next week.

  • I kinda like the Call of Juarez series, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this game turns out. Cartel btw is Call of Juarez in name only, keep it western and I'm in :-)
  • Back to the west? I guess that modern call of juarez didn't work out then. Enjoyed the first one will look out for this.
  • Red Dead Call of Juarez
  • the Cartel was one of the worst gaems i ever played, great idea but idea can only take you so far with shitty gameplay and awful graphics
  • Back to the west baby!
  • Grrr...I am so tired of watching these Lysol commercials.
  • This had fallen off my radar so much, I forgot it was announced. Never really got into this series, seems to have a lot of potential, but just never quite get there to me. Still, hope this turns out well for all the fans out there.
  • After the Cartel the series is dead to me.
  • there are some places and locations with much red dead redemption but it looks awesome graphic engine seems to be the same as in assassins creed 3 i hope its not a clone of rdr, hope it will be a unique game and it should be only in the real, old wild west awesome game
  • Call of Juarez is back to its roots!!! cant wait!!!
  • This game looks good. WTF were they think when they made the cartel?
  • Definitely not an RDR clone. This is an arcade title. Cartel was a disappointment but the first 2 games were great. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
  • @3 makes no sense
  • I'd pass on this if it wasn't an XBLA title. I'll definitely try the demo first though.
  • #14 Yes me too I don't play XBLA lots. I more into and force on retail games way more. So I will try out demo and see how well game it's as well reviews too. CoJ 1 and 2 is great (first series) and good (2nd series) but 3rd series is huge letdown and terrible ruined. But now new CoJ turn out to be TPS for XBLA. Well I think it is should be FPS really because original series is belong to FPS. I keep my eyes on this one and look forward reveal full info next week. :)
  • Cartel was terrible, glad they're going back to the West.
  • goobers is here to say yes i want this game.
  • If this trailer was made in-engine, the game looks sweet. LOVE the old west.
  • @3 really? is this going to be every western now just liek every game that has a car and a gun becomes GTA clone rockstar didnt invent westerns, they didnt invent car chases theyre just two games set in the same kind of setting
  • the only 'Call' Title that deserve 'Response' this year.
  • Looking at these pics make me really want to dust of my Red Dead copy. XBLA though hmm won't it be a bit short then ?
