| Feel bad for those out of a job, but man they took a really good idea for a game and produced a stinker of a game.... |

| It's tragic that such great game developers had to be let go. The work they did on Aliens: Colonial Marines was fantastic. It's good to hear that they are working on next-gen since it's obvious that the constraints of current-gen hardware were holding them back and if they could make a game that looked so good on current platforms, imagine how great their games will be on next-gen consoles. |

| @4 in no way was the limits of the current systems the deciding factor on how poor A:CM turned out. |

This isn't always news. What happens is, a game doesn't need as many people as they employ to make it. They get hundreds of people for a 60-man job so it can have bells and whistles all over the place that are largely unnecessary. Game gets finished, fire all the excess people that aren't the core team. When another project comes up, they will hire a bunch of people again. And if they are prepping for the next gen, that means they're going to push for more unnecessary bells and whistles and hire hundreds more (maybe the same guys) and fire them again later. |

@4 They seemed to be limited by the constraints of an Atari 2600 not a PS3 or xbox 360. |

| I don't see why so many people are "white knighting" A:CM by saying it's not that bad. You bought a stinker of a game, surely you want to warn others, not encourage them to spend so you don't feel as bad about wasting your cash! |

| @8 The thing is I really like playing it, so why would I warn others not to buy it? I'm sick of people telling me what's good and what's bad, I can make up my own mind. |

| Given how this all went down, it should've been Gearbox that lost people, not Timegate. |

| I finally got around to playing the second mission last night and it was hard work. It'll probably be another week before I have the strength to move onto the third mission. It's really bad. |

This is like when that Duke Nukem game came out.. so much hype for it.. and delay after delay .. by the time it comes out people forget what the whole game lore/series/whatever was all about. causing the game to fail.. i dont plan on picking this game up anytime soon.. its sad to see that people dont try hard enough to make games exciting... Sure we're in the age of the FPS gaming but some people still find ways to make it intresting and fun, or atleast challenging |

I think I may need therapy after playing A:CM. Kept telling myself all way through that it would get better... I was lying, it didn't... I still have the dreams now, I'm putting it in my xbox, smiling.. I wake up screaming and check my games to make sure I really did trade it. So please.. anybody reading this, don't end up like me Just turn and run.. by Tomb raider, anything just not this dogturd of a game. Ninja Sharingan out. End Transmission. |

I didn't hate as much as everyone else seemed to but yeah it wasn't what anybody hoped for. It's still fun to play though unlike some other games that review 9/10 but have no edge or threat of danger in them such as Far Cry 3, which for me was a bigger disappointment than a:cm inspite of its technical and commercial superiority. |
