@3. Civ Rev is worth it imo. It's hard as hell on Deity setting. But a great laugh and plenty of easy achievements.
Batman Arkham Asylum is very tempting. In fact, I may just download it for that price. Not sure about Max Payne 3 though. Will have to decide soon though. |

I'm unsure on Max Payne as well; remember liking the first one, though struggling to see whether the appeal will still be there for me.
Anyone suggest how the story is? I've heard some conflicting things, some people saying it's brilliant, and some saying it's very disappointing compared to Remedy's work with Max Payne 1, and to a lesser extent, 2. :/ |

Thanks for the opinions, guys. It'll be my first Civ game so I'll give it a go.
@9 and anyone else asking about Max Payne 3. Just my opinion but I really loved the first two games and pretty much hated MP3. The pacing was all kinds of wrong, it was insanely repetitive and just didn't feel anything like a Max Payne game. Like I said, only my opinion but if I wasn't sure about it, I wouldn't pick it up until it was under $15. |

| Is the GoD Arkham Asylum the Game of the Year edition with it's separate achievement list? I already have the original version on my tag, but I'd love to go for the 1000GS again as it's the game that originally got me into achievement hunting. |

| Wow...the US/UK price differences are total bs. the UK price (after converting the currencies) is about 6 dollars less. Even with that sale I still feel ripped off knowing they are charging more for no reason. hell, if I really wanted to i could make a UK GT and get that same price, so what is the point in charging us more? |

| Max Payne 3 for that price is an absolute steal... You've probably paid a lot more for games that you'll enjoy a lot less... If you even remotely enjoyed either of the first 2 it's a no brainer. |

Really not sure why Peace Walker is $10, considering it is 1 game and MGSHD is 2 games. Was sure it'd be $5, but oh well.
Already own MGS2 & 3 on PS2, so probably going to pick it up anyway. Can get it used on PSP for the same price, but I'd rather play on a console. |

| So if I use a UK account on my US 360 to buy Max Payne 3 (Saves $8.50) I'll be able to play it right? I'd hate to get it just to find out I wasted money and can't play it. I know this works with XBLA games but I don't know if it works with Games on Demand seeing as they're retail releases. |

In regards to the metal gear questions, MGS HD includes MGS2 and MGS3 both games boast days of original gameplay (each game plays differently but with similarities.) with the extra features even more (about 3-6 hours per game on speed runs not including extras, achievements and secret unlocks.) The MGS Series has a huge complex and intricate story with MGS3 Possessing one of the best stories in the entire gaming world even to this day.
Peace Walkers story leaves a lot to be desired however it is rated the best PSP game ever made with more gameplay content, extras, secrets and humor than every game before it, it also adds co-op and multiplayer gameplay to the series for up to 4 players, and since the HD version has had a graphical cleanup its visuals are on par with HD PS2 game at least, ive seen xbox 360 games that looked alot worse.
Is it worth it?
Personally Yes!, ive not met many people who would disagree but it is down to personal taste just like all other games, but those that have typically play casual or multiplayer games only. |

Max Payne 3 is great fun. Not an easy 1000, but worth that price.
MGS HD is worth it. Brilliant 2 games. Not so keen on peacewalker personally
Batman: Arkham Asylum is in my opinion the best single game on the 360. Have completed all 4 versions of it (xbox and PC, both GOTY). Can't beat that price either |

| Max Payne is $2.50 in Switzerland! Here games cost $79.00 and usually games on demand are always more expensive compared to US & UK but for some strange reason it's been around half the UK price for all the deals. I got 7 games for less than $20!! If only I had more time to play :/ |

Smells fishy to me.
They are doing this sale because they are going to do exactly what Sony plan on doing, no access to Arcade/GOD games already bought and no backwards compat unless it is re-bought and streamed.
You'd have thought that with all the technology, you'd be able to have a continuous platform and just need to buy hardware. |
