Next Week's Rock Band Tracks Always Give it Away

There's another selection of tracks taken from Rock Band Blitz coming to the Rock Band library next week, with three singles to choose from.

All-American Rejects open proceedings with "Kids in the Street", before Blink-182 bring "Always" to Rock Band. And finally, Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Give it Away" from the band's 1991 album 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik' rounds out the offerings.

Always is one of my favourite Blink songs glad to see it's actually playable before they don't make any more DLC.

It's an on-disc song for RB2, but it didn't export with the other ones. It also didn't have a Keys chart.

You know, I've spent hundreds of dollars on Rock Band DLC over the last five years, and it crushes me to see it come to an end... but the one good thing that comes out of the DLC ending is that I won't have to come back every Friday and see another one of these God-awful Rock Band puns.

@6 I like the puns. The fact that this site cracks jokes and doesn't exactly take the journalism aspect of reporting news too seriously is one of the reasons I like it here.

I don't think he was seriously attacking the puns, there. It was more tongue in cheek.
OT: Didn't realise Rock Band DLC was ending. Ah, well, all good things come to an end - wonder whether they'll carry over to next gen; I'll be honest, I can see another revival of music games when the next-gen rolls around.
Be funny if it does, because then it's basically mimicking music genres itself.

@9 I think April 2nd was the last day isn't it? That leaves one final week of new DLC after the 2 you mentioned. I REALLY hope they do something BIG. I think I'll be a little disappointed if it is just a couple singles or a 3 pack.

Maybe they will announce April 2nd it was a big elaborate April Fools Joke.. :(

The only thing that I don't like is that all of the songs that I bought don't have pro upgrades unless I spend even more money on them. I just got a pro guitar and I don't use it because I don't like the songs in RB3. :(

I wish they would have just included the pro stuff for free if you bought the songs.

@10: The last release is only going to be one song (no pro guitar), and it will be a song that they feel is an appropriate send-off, so don't hold out hope for a Led Zeppelin 50-pack only to get Semisonic's "Closing Time".

it did export cause ive had it on RB3 for ever and according to:

the only 2 sources are this current DLC release and the RB2 game

^ The only RHCP song that exports from any disc-based game is Dani California from RB1. Also, the site lists all songs available for any of the games.

@13 aww really, 1 song. That does seem fitting, was hoping they would go out with a bang tho. Being one send off song, I hope they choose something that is fitting. It would be nice if they offered it to us for free as a "Thank you" to the fans.

Still hate to see it end. Glad we still get RBN though. Lots of great stuff there.
