The next-gen is coming, and according to information, you will need to pay for internet for both Xbox and PS4. The reason for Playstation is because they lack the money to have good server maintenance, so because of that it happens more often that the servers are not available on PS3 then on Xbox 360... Yeah I see ya man...but the ps servers are only down once a week on a thursday...a price im willing to.pay for all the extra benefits that sony are pushing out. Like you say...these current gen games are almost old shit...sony realise that and give some away...microsoft still take the piss with their prices. Whichever way you paint the picture...sony are using a better brush these days and I genuinely believe that they have learned from microsofts poor example (these sales for example) in some ways.
There will always be a split with people backing their favourite stuff...but me, im just a gamer and I want to play games and do it ss cheap as possible. My console of choice next time around will probably be sony....no matter what microsoft are saying. |

I know it says "majority" but this is deceptive marketing. I am one who agrees with people having severe entitlement issues but this is a little shady for people expecting many games at 75% off, especially when you are seeing Sony give games free on a weekly basis. I am not starting a fanboy battle but Microsoft should be aware that customers are shifting gears to the other platforms based on customer service. |

"Don't like it, don't buy it" is not a valid counter to criticism, especially in this case. People want to buy this stuff but won't buy it because of the prices. They're telling you why they're not buying it yet you think telling them "don't like it, don't buy it" is a valid counterargument. How do you not see what's wrong with that. All it would take is a tiny bit of critical thinking skills to see how god awful that argument is.
It seems to be used a lot by fanboys who can't handle even the slightest amount of criticism. You also prove that you parroted the phrase when you said "simple" because that's exactly how everybody else uses that argument. |

If it's a bad sale then people need to call them out. Most of these games are cheaper elsewhere. For example a game like Call of Duty 2 which is well over 7 years old is not worth $10 in my opinion. I can get a physical copy at gohastings.com for $6.23 and even cheaper than that when they have promo codes. Black Ops for $30 is a rip off. I can get a like new copy of it on Amazon right now for just under $17. Some of the sales have been decent but today's sales are probably the worst so far. |

Fuck Sony.. all they have done for me this generation is shown me that they know nothing about:
1. The internet
2. Download Speeds
3. Installations
4. Their bare bones network PSN
5. The fact that they are pulling the wool over your eyes with your so called free games when they should be inproving their shitty service from the ground up.
6. Advertising
7. Their file system and OS as well as their gimped UI
8. Software
9. Making a machine that is easy to develop for.. no wonder 90% of all multiplats look better on 360.
10. Making demoes available for every game! This is inexcusable.
All in all the PS3 has been a failure to me and is quite simply the worst console I have ever owned for gaming.. dating all the way back to the Oddysee 2. If you'd like me to explain any of this in further detail or would like me to explain to you why PSN+ is nothing more than a SCAM RENTAL SERVICE to me, I'll be more than happy to let you know.
No matter how you slice or dice it, PS3 still has double the CONS overall when compared to 360. |

Calling PS+ a scam rental service is laughable as you're paying the same price for Xbox Live and not getting ANYTHING. At least with PS+ you can play a bunch of games. I've been a PS+ member for 3 months and already have over 30 games for free. Who cares if they don't last when I drop my subscription?
You are paying microsoft the same thing each year and getting what? Your paying a subscription as well buddy. Use your brain before you type.
PS. I also have almost 300K gamerscore which will show you that I am not a Sony Fanboy and I agree that the PS3 messed up in a lot of ways, but get off your retarded fanboy dick riding of microsoft because you seem stupid. |

You are complete moron who doesn't think outside the box at all you know that. PSN+ is a SCAM RENTAL SERVICE TO BE BUD.. why? I don't do digital versions of disk based games! Nor do I rent games or pay for renting them especially when I don't get to choose them!
You claim I don't get anything with XBL? Let me educate you son on what I get with XBL for a measly $35 a year.
1. Superior Versions of Multiplats.. not gimped dragged through the gutter peices of trash like Bayonetta, Ghostbusters, etc, etc.
2. I get download and installation speeds that are 4x faster than anything the PS3 is even capable of.
3. I actually get DEMOS FOR EVERY GAME kiddo, NO exceptions.. unlike that mediocrisy you put up with on the bare bones PSN service.
4. I get cross game chat, custom soundtracks for every game.. All DLC for every game (Skyrim says hello to you and laughs) and am able to communicate with everyone on the console :GASP: no matter what what I'm doing! You can't do that on PS3 son! :)
5. I get a a controller that isn't an ergonomic nightmare and can actually be used for first person shooters unlike your archaic peice of shit 17 year old abomination you call the Dual Shock 3.. and come to think of it, Sony still didn't get their head on straight when they designed the dual shock 4 either.. Still a peice of shit with analog sticks on the same axis.
Hope that clears things up on Why XBL is a better value to me! Maybe it's you who should stop riding KAZ's tiny asian cock with no lube and maybe it's you who should think before you type!
I challenge you to refute any of these points because to this very day, I have never been bested by your ignorant one sided PS3 fanboy logic! My actual number is less than 5k from 300k as this site won't update my gamercard anymore for some reason. He wasn't civil at all about it which is why I've continued to ignore him. I love debating things like sales and console choices and the likes, as I do it with friends all the time. I'm just not a child about it.

| @103 PS+ is definitely not a scam rental service. The goodies I get courtesy of PS+ for a year are unbelievably superior to what that same investment would buy me at a specialised rental store or website. But if you think that way, fair enough. But there's no need to unleash a crusade against PS owners like myself and Cinderkin, just because we play on Sonys consoles as well. Both companies make fantastic consoles. My PS2 and original Xbox provided great entertainment and memories alone and with friends. |

Thank you, maybe if Cinderkin was as rational and polite as you are he woudln't have found himself in a situation like that.
The whole argumented started because he failed to see that I was referring to what PSN+ is to me.. worthless since I'm a collector and perfer physical media. He basically assumed I was referring to it as a whole which I was not, I was saying that it was a scam service to "ME" and that's exactly my point.
Thank you for understanding though, you seem like a very rational and fair minded person.
