Damnit, I'm losing faith in this game. It used to be that if a game was delayed, it was to give it extra polish. But nowadays, when a game gets repeatedly delayed, it's because it sucks and they're desperately trying to salvage it. I think I might cancel my pre-order and just wait to see what the reviews are like. |

At least it has a date again. In general I'm getting sick of squeals but I'm really looking forward to this. |

@1 I'd say this delay was simply because of THQ dying. When it went under the distribution plans would have come to a halt and there was no time to sort new channels in time for the original date. The whole thing about using the time to improve the game is likely just them just trying to soften the blow and any improvements they do make would probably just mean there's day 1 patch. |

| Since Aliens delay dramas I'm a bit cautious about preordering now. |

@1 Clearly, it's been delayed because of the studio transitioning from one publisher to another... THQ went belly-up, and Metro was bought by Koch. There's a lot of paperwork involved there and/or maybe Koch decided May would be a better release window for the game, as it's less cluttered than March. The game will be great, of that I'm positive. OT; happy to hear this. After not having the game cross my mind in months, I suddenly thought of it today, went to preorder and found out there was no definitive release date. What are the odds the launch day gets confirmed less than an hour later? lol. |

Hopefully people don't whine because Deep Silver is publishing it. Thank god the game finally sees the light though.... I'm funny I swear. |

| @1 - By your reckoning, Bioshock: Infinite should really be a bomb then... |

| Whatever the reason for the delay I'm sure they'll use the time to improve the game. These days many developers rush out sequels every 12 months (or less!). A quick profit seems more important to them than quality. I recently complained about yet another supposedly AAA title being released full of bugs. A guy asked what seemed, to him, to be a rhetorical question "Would you rather you had to wait to play it an extra couple of months?" Actually, yes. Yes I would. I'm a patient man. Have faith. This game will be worth the wait. |

| im sure they are not fuvking with the game, likely as was posted above, there was a transitioning time between the different publishers. at least now we have a release date and there is again hope. i cant wait for this game. best game of the year. |

| Fine by me. Got Bioshock in March on top of an already huge backlog so I might just be able to play this right when it comes out. It is deserving of that after all |

| Saw this coming. It must be a pretty dramatic shift when you're switching publishers when you're nearing the game's completion. Legally, anyway. I'm totally fine with this; I've got a few games spaced out over the next few months. Looks like Metro and Resident Evil in May! |

| That awesome. My birthday on 21st May and maybe have this game for my birthday present. Look forward this game. I am so glad Deep Silver pick it up and support this franchise when THQ is dead. :) |

| I wouldn't be worried about this. If it was just another random delay, then yeah, maybe. But their publisher went bankrupt, so I'm not surprised at all, the game itself is likely still on track, they just have to figure out a new distribution plan. Hopefully the little extra time this gives 4A will only make the game better! |
