| It looks like it's basically MKvsDC. I don't think it'll do to well. It will have mediocre gameplay overall. Why couldn't they just make a revamped DC Universe for 360? |

| Thank goodness they weren't using character designs from the "Superfriends" cartoons. A big headed Sinestro would definitely regulate the game to D.O.A. |

They keep checking characters off my wishlist.
I'm still hoping for Martian Manhunter, Zatanna, Black Canary, Starfire, and Swamp Thing on the hero side.
Darkseid, Bizarro, Lobo, Gorilla Grodd, Poison Ivy, Etrigan, Darkseid, and Eclipso on the villain side.
My longshot characters would be the Midnighter, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Apollo, Katana, Huntress, and Azrael.
I'd like to see Robin added, but I doubt we'll get him with Nightwing already included. Ditto for Hawkman now that we've got Hawkgirl. I also doubt we'll see Batgirl or Supergirl for similar reasons. |

@15 I hope that's true, because I absolutely hate the stupid hood they put on Shazam (Captain Marvel).
I have no problem with the New 52 look, but I do hope they appease those of us who prefer the classic look for each character.
Hoping for Bizarro, Black Adam, Metamorpho, Captain Atom, Firestorm, Captain Cold, Plastic Man, Red Tornado, The Spectre, Doctor Fate, Titania.
I think the addition of those characters would add a lot of variety for powers and moves. |

| The fact that they're adding all of these characters is awesome and I'm having fun watching these videos but the gameplay still looks too stiff/clunky. The Grundy GL fight was a good example of what I'm talking about. There's a point where Grundy is hopping towards GL and it looks so lame. Not how I picture a pissed of Solomon Grundy coming at me. Also, GL can fly but he's reduced to dashing in quick bursts. They should put the run back in these games and the ability to combo from the run. That was a very fun part of the older MK games. The movement just doesn't look right to me at all. Plus, where are the finishers? Obviously there won't be fatalities but there should be some sort of finishing moves here. From what I've seen it looks kind of empty without them. |

I disagree. MK vs DC wasn't terrible - it was just flawed.
graphically it looked pretty good. But toning down the violence in a MK game just can't work. It's what the series was built on and is most well known for. |

@14: Have you seen the vid on youtube where they talk with one of the games designers and tell him a string of characters names and he gives a yes, not saying, or no? I think he was asked roughly most of the names you were wondering about. Some he gave no answer to you could tell by face-reading that they are proly in. Also at the end he says any that dont make it in the final 'shipped' roster always have a shot at being added as DLC characters if demand for them is high enough!
I think the game is coming along well and can't wait to try out that sweet joystick that comes with its 'Battle' edition! :D |
