| I've never played or heard of these games before so I was just wondering...What kind of game is it and what genre? Certainly looks pretty interesting. |

@5 old school (and I mean old school) fps. It's crazy - Not played this version, but the originals were *really* good fun. Think original quake with crazier weaponry (stake launchers than pin enemies to walls, rapid fire shuriken launchers etc) and a shit load more enemies. |

| @5 - Think FPS shooter mixed in with elements of Darksiders/Shadows of the Damned/Dante's Inferno though of course the original Painkiller came out before any of those games |

I hope they put the last DLC contents from the PC on Disc already as reviews for PC say that the Game is much shorter than the original Game. Just saw this new DLC arriving for PC today with new Single Player Maps, etc: http://store.steampowered.com/news/10008/ |

| @6 & 7 I see thanks for the info. I love old school shooters so this may be right up my alley! Will definitely look into this more and keep my eye on this! The second game in about a week that I've never heard of that has piqued my interest(the first being Defiance)! |

Painkiller played a bit like Serious Sam in that you'd walk into a room...enemies would spawn and you'd have to kill them all to get the door to the next room/area to open. I think what set it aside from other games were the enemy designs (some were pretty cool at the time) and your basic weapon which is a "gun" that when you hold the trigger down had spinning blades that diced up monsters. I see on the game's wiki page that all versions of Hell & Damnation will include the original Painkiller & the 1st expansion Battle Out of Hell...is there any truth to that? |

It's ok but I preorder standard edition because I preorder Bioshock Infinite collector's edition. Bioshock is most important game in Spring 2013 so I want get it for this game. Look forward Painkiller. Glad it is coming on console since cancelled Painkiller game back in original Xbox era time. :) |

@10 I thought the whole game is a re-working of the original Painkiller and Battle Out Of Hell ? From what I have read about the game, it's not much of a challenge where the enemies are concerned - they just rush at you. You shoot them until they are all gone. Move onto next area. Rinse and repeat.... I hope it's better than I have read and if so, I'll pick it up, but I can see this going down in price like the 'DooM 3: BFG Edition' did so soon after launch. |

| for fucks sake a roadmap of dlc?! Its a port of an 8 or so year old pc game! No wonder games aren't selling as much anymore every developer adding expensive shitty dlc and it more pisses me off when they announce it soo early its still 5-6 weeks till this is out. Fuck em cancelled bioshock pre order and now cancelled this not payin another £20-£30 for dlc for a few extra achs so they not gettin ANY money from me. Dlc has killed gamin in my opinion. 50% Of 360 stuff is dlc fed up with it votin with my wallet |

Derp meant @16 :P All you really need to do is make 5 accounts on Bing rewards(the maximum amount to a household). Then you redeem all the msp for your account(up to a total of like 64,000 I believe). Only takes a little over a month to get 400 points. 400 points X 5 accounts = 2000msp. :) |

| I used to own one of those big posters. Gave them away for free, they ran out. After some weeks of walking by, they were about to replace the poster with a new game poster at the time, I could have it. Best memory about Painkiller. :) |

| While other Collector's Editions may have better contents in the box, I'm very pleased with this especially for the price. £25 for the standard edition is worth anyone's money, but for an extra £10 I'm happy to buy the CE. Good stuff. |

@5 and @23 - Just watch this video of a level that PC currently has as DLC. We will probably get it too, but just watch it. How can you say no to this kind of game? Fair warning, the guy doing the video is Russian, so you might have to bear with not understanding a single word, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9UAlTY4sZA |
