BioWare has revealed a bit more info about Mass Effect 3‘s upcoming multiplayer expansion, Reckoning. The free downloadable content brings a bunch of new classes, including the Geth Juggernaut, Cabal Vanguard, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit and Krogan Warlord. It also arrives with seven new weapons, including the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun and Lancer Assault Rifle. There’s a Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade tucked in amongst it too. Mass Effect 3: Reckoning launches on February 26th. Before that though, this weekend brings a new Bounty Weekend operation. It challenges players to earn 50,000 points with the M-8 Avenger assault rifle and 50,000 points with Inferno Grenades. Nail the goal before the end of play on Sunday and you’ll be rewarded with a Commendation Pack and a special tribute banner. The description reads, “A surprise Reaper assault inflicted deeply-felt casualties on our N7 teams and interrupted supply lines to several worlds. Many units will have to rely on standard-issue sidearms and munitions. We must honor and avenge our comrades who fell – and let the Reapers know this was a mistake, not a victory.” And, in a final flourish of new single-player content, Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC launches on March 5th for 1200 MSP.
