My local cinema is a Cineworld. Don't think I'd bother with this deal though. Interesting one though isn't it? Quite odd compared to the usual, but I commend them thinking outside the box. |

My only problem is with the game being out before the film. Will kind of spoil the film for me. Video games aren't able to deliver the story in the same way a film does. |

| @7 have you even read up on this game because if you have, This game doesn't follow the movies story. |

| Sounds like a good deal to me, I'm curious if can get the code into the machines at cineworld since don't like the idea of buying tickets online, concerned if need a printer for the ticket since don't have a working printer (broke down :/ ) |

@7 The game isnt just a retelling of the movie, its a completely different story. So you have nothing to worry about. People should really research things to learn as much as possible before jumpng to conclusion. |

| I've never heard of Cineworld. The first cineworld opened in 1996 in hertfodshire and they have a total of 80+ cinemas in uk & ireland. the closest one to me is i think in ipswick a 100+ mile round trip. |

| @7 i have to respectfully disagree with you, games can tell just as good a story as a movie plus they make you a part of the story as a added bonus ! |

| This may seem good but it's clearly not, unless you planned to buy the game before this. It costs £40 for a game, so even though its "free" it really isn't. If they can convince people to buy the game for the "free" ticket, they'll make a lot more then they would have without it. |

@12) Dude the first movie was awesome! That's not coming from a star trek nerd at all. That was the first star trek movie/tv series I ever watched. Really looking forward to this 2nd movie. Have not seen enough of this game, my early perception is it looks like a cheap mass effect knock off. |

| @25 you do realise mass effect was inspired by star trek right? The developers said it themselves. |

@25, see you're being silly since it's not the "first" film. It's the 11th film. And Abrams being the cock he is took the job and publicly admitted he never liked Star Trek and "wasn't going to make a Trek film" he was "going to make a blockbuster" which is not what Star Trek is about. Bland, boring, shallow story line, poor character development but enough fireworks and CGI to keep the braindead masses from spotting how shit it is does not = "awesome" as you so claim. |
