System Update Prepares Us for Future Growth of Xbox Live Written Wednesday, August 06, 2008 by Jeff Lao I'm sure many of you were wondering how come we have such an update? This recent System Update for our Xbox 360's over Xbox Live contains codes to "prepare for the growth of the service". According to Major Nelson, there are no other changes or enhancements in this update…in other words no new features. So no need to get excited yet, as the new Xbox experience will come in Fall. | |

The new system allows you to have 8 players in a "party" and you have the ability to hop into any games, etc. And according to Major Nelson with a video on Inside Xbox, you can also watch Netflix movies (most likely including the marketplace rentals) with members in this party, which is pretty convenient in my opinion. |
