| Would love an Alien game in the Walking Dead mould. The problem is a Xenomorph should be a real threat, not a bug (I know its called a bughunt in Aliens) and a mindless part of the horde. Even in Aliens, the Xenos used strategy and tactics and seemed to be one step ahead of the marines. It was a s big a part of what made them scary beyond the acid and skin like steel. So a Game in the style of Walking Dead, with dramatic tension and actual encounters few and deadly, would be nice. |

have to agree with #10 parts of the game are good, but a lot of it seems very dated almost Xbox 1 graphics and style.
Preordered it and have to say very disappointed, especially how many times this has been delayed. |

| As a fan boy who grew up and lovers the film I love the game too, very true to the film and the sound is brilliant. If the film wasn't your thing then this probably isn't it for you as I have to admit as a shooter it's maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 but as an Aliens piece of fan gaming its mega. Just getting the hang of multiplayer now the aliens don't control much different than they did in AvP |

Think that quote from Aliens sums this up nicley. Had this on pre order on PS3, got it then took it back after an hour. They guy at the shop asked what was wrong with it and i told him straight it was terrible, managed to get a credit note but i feel ripped off over this.
It is soooooo bad its not even funny. Seriously its looks like and Xbox / PS1 game and playes like an 8 bit game. So glad i didn't got for the PC version in the end.
Reading round Gearbox have had next to nothing to do with this and its been sourced out. Seriously they should be done under the trade description act. |

| It's typical of the gaming journos tho that for months on end this game was hyped up so much. Even when they get a hands-on session with it nowhere, i saw anyway, did it say there was reservations on the poor AI and graphics. People go out and preorder the game based on what "experts" have written then once the game's released and reviews are posted the vast majority slate it. And the excuse? The preview writer didn't carry out the review. I'm still waiting on amazon to send out my preordered copy. But i'm going to reserve judgement until i play it for myself. There are a few games i've enjoyed playing that have been poorly received and reviewed |

@#16 - Gearbox had better not let it get out that they farmed out A: CM (if that's true) because the Borderlands community is already pretty pissed they farmed out the BL2 DLC.
It would make people wonder what the fuck Gearbox've been doing this whole time because it certainly wouldn't be working hard on their games. |

| It's disappointing to learn that this game is this terrible. I was waiting a while for this game and was getting hyped up and then reviews are saying it is basically a flop... So sad. I just want a good Aliens game... Oh well back to Dead Space 3! |

| Despite having looked forward to this for a couple years now, I'm not going to get this. I have $5 on it at Gamestop, but a 2,5/10 from Deatructoid (Personally, my most respected reviews) and talk of a four -six hour campaign, I'm out. Maybe in a month or two when it's $20. Now, I've got Dead Space and Metal Gear next week. |

I'm loving this game, story was cool, open ending (for DLC no doubt, lol) and I like the MP. At first I hated it, but after a few games to get to grips with the Alien controls, it is a lot of fun! Looking forward to the horde mode style DLC that is apparently coming too.
The campaign was longer than 4-6 hours, even on recruit. I'm a bit disappointed there doesn't seem to be any marine "permadeath" (which was mooted in earlier previews) but as others have said, the AI can be a bit pap at times, and having your team mate standing in front of an enemy APC soaking up bullets is a bit, odd...
There is no local MP either, only coop, which is disappointing :( |

Jus played a couple of levels.
It seems games that get delayed are doomed.
This games ok playing with friends but that's it, the AI is shoddy and the graphics aren't great.
Shame really I was looking forward to this. |

I got this game today and my god does it have problems...
The multi-player is horrible, I have pounced on marines only for the game to freeze, the controls don't respond well, half the time I strike a melee attack it clearly misses or I end up spinning in a circle- It makes Resident Evil 6 look like a masterpiece!
A huge let down in my opinion. |

| I think it might sell okay off the back of the license and people who aren't clued up. It is the top game in the Amazon chart at the moment. People will buy anything out of a brand association, or a 40 second ad. |
