Namco Bandai has beamed in a new trailer for Digital Extreme's upcoming co-op Star Trek game. “Kirk and Spock uncover a mysterious piece of technology on New Vulcan, which will either save or destroy all life in the galaxy,” says the blurb. Dramatic, eh? Vid’s below. Star Trek is out on April 23rd in the US and April 26th in Europe.

| Not heard enough about this to get excited and given the fact it will be out around the same time as the new movie worries me as well. Hopefully not a rushed movie tie in, the core material is there to make a great RPG or shooter with Star Trek. | ||

| although he is trolling,i sort of have to agree with #1,i was hoping for a rpg type game,but every video i see it looks purely shooter,i would love a star trek rpg set around the next gen/ds9 universe | ||

| @8 exactly my point, I'll play mix's of co-op, single player because love the star trek universe but usually stick to solo mainly due to many players love rushing things, avoid the story which I love to explore. | ||

| I've never liked Star Trek, but the recent film was amazing and this looks pretty tasty too. Gonna sink my teeth into this when it comes out. Let's hope it's just as fun as it looks :D | ||
