Assassins Creed In-Game Items Come to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

How’s this for a bit of unexpected cross-brand promotion? Ubisoft has released a bunch of Assassin’s Creed flavoured in-game items for use in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

The items, which include assassin hoods and armour as well as Abstergo weapons, are being released to tie-in with the launch of AC III’s The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy add-on. And, presumably, in the hope of drumming up stronger support for Future Soldier’s online portion.

Items can be bought using Requisition points or Ghost Coins, with a 15% discount offered as an incentive to snap up the lot. All downloads come with an exclusive avatar.

Full details below:

  • 5 new Recon class items : The legendary Assassin’s Creed Hood and 4 pieces of body armor
  • 6 new weapons straight from the weapon racks of Abstergo industries private security forces (F2000 SP AC, Fiveseven AC, MG36 KV AC, P90 C AC, Sentinel SR-1 AC, Pentagun SP AC). These firearms boast superior accuracy and improved recoil control systems

the campaign is a lot of fun Neohawk, so i say give it a go. the online WAS fun but it's unfortunatly pretty dead now

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier or Ghost Recon: Renaissance Assassin?

I actually don´t own GR:FS and did not own it, so I can´t really judge, but this "DLC" looks pretty sweet, running around the map while "invisible" in Assassin Hood? Cool. Just cool.

@4 yeah, come on, cry it out.

Well the source says this is for Ghost Recon Online the free-2-play game on the pc, and has no mention of Ghost Recon future soldier.

Screens in the link above. Plus confirmation that it does seem to be in the Ghost Recon:Online game for the PC, not future soldier. Though I would imagine that it wouldn't long before coming to future soldier in the end.

This pretty much confirms its for the PC version, you don't get Ghost Coins or Requisition points on either the Xbox360 or PS3 versions of the game.

Your sources need to be better researched Lee ;)
