| Just started playing this game and I'm very impressed so far. (Think the village sections are a bit slow paced though) if you wanted to get into dark souls or the witcher and found them to demanding then this is the game for you. It's Very similar, has a great combat system and is very aproachable. Glad to see they are continuing to support it. Also love the way your characters height/weight affect his stats! More games should do this. |

You do know your disc copy of DD vanilla is going to be obsolete, right?
If you want to play Dark Arisen, you have to buy the disc which contains the whole game also. |

| gonna buy the new version of the game with the expansion for 20 quid in April and start the game again from start(i have 1000/1000 in vanilla game)...can't wait,fantastic game |

| Has anyone noticed that the XBox servers now list DD vanilla as DD: Dark Arisen? I checked my achievements and was surprised to see the change, both on console and the website. |

I loved the demo still want to get the game. But everytime I see it I think to myself they missed a massive opportunity to make an amazing online rpg :(.
Still found it great though. Just when was the last great online rpg? |

| If you want an expansion to DD and don't care about whether or not it has achievements, then yes. Dark Arisen contains the full game. If you own Dark Arisen there's literally no reason at all to own the original. |

#7, not entirely true. Owners of the original get a bunch of extra stuff. A huge batch of Rift Crystals and unlimited Ferry Stones, if I remember correctly. Of course the thrifty would just rent or sell the game after their purchase, but whatever.
Also, they could have purchased the game early for the RE6 demo (or for some other reason) and just got around to playing it now. It happens. |
