I don't see how this is an exploit to sidestep microtransactions. The way to sidestep them are to just not do them. They aren't mandatory.
The whole point of the microtransactions are to save time and make the game easier, sooner rather than later.
You can just ignore them altogether, and this glitch, and not be affected in any way. This is an alternative cheating to be better faster, but the easiest and less time consuming option is just to not do anything and you know, play the damn game like people used to. |

So for all of you who were against the game, who STILL bought the game, who were against the microtransactions & the "play to win", can now go ahead & glitch away like so many others will as a big "fuck you" to EA. It's guaranteed that's what's happening.
Even with the glitch that will be patched very quickly, I'm still not getting this game. The demo didn't win me over.

I think it's too bad. Microtransactions get games funding they wouldn't have otherwise received.
Hating EA is the most pathetic and worthless use of your emotion I can imagine. EA is a company and it wants to make money. There is not a game publisher on the planet that doesn't have this as its sole goal (in fact, it would be ILLEGAL for the management to make decisions that didn't have profit as an end goal).

Just remember Max Payne 3 glitch where you simple could replay the last bit of the last chapter and got all the difficulty achievements? Well probly not need to say more or? | Be careful there is similar kind of thing in Mass Effect 3, where you can exploit and get lot's of credits fast, and therefore avoid the transactions, but they ban people who they find doing it. |

| @34,This may be true if your willing to play it off-line but for those rather wanna play it on-line in co-op not. Or you must be able to farm it all and then get on-line. I'm at chapter 9 and just been running through without really looking for stuff and already have suit fully upgraded and a bunch of resources in inventory. Its not that hard to get resources and don't think it really needs farmed out.
I guess a lot of the people commenting haven't really played the game yet |

| I'm betting this glitch is going to be attached to some major element to game, that if they fix it will cause the game to break or mess up a key element to the game, much like the checkpoint restart cheat that was found in RE5 that Capcon knows about, but won't fix because it will affect the auto save, which is something that you don't screw around in games. |

What you guys don't get is 99.9% of people who play this game and spend on said micrtransactions will never see this info. They are not spending hours on forums,youtube or visiting our beloved Xbox sites. They are sheep(as are some of you)and will spend tons of cash on this garbage.

...Or you could just play normally. Seriously, the resources aren't hard to find normally. The scavenger bots bring in a good bit of resources and the ration seals they find get you the micro-transaction items FOR FREE anyway. Seriously, I got at least 3 or 4 of those Ultra Resource packs from playing the game normally and I have a fully upgraded Rig and tons of spare resources after crafting a couple really powerful weapons.
The way people talk on here make it sound like the game is just a barren wasteland and the microtransactions are required. |

| I just found another earlier place to do this, slight spoilers, during chapter 4 when you have to go up a lift to the admirals quarters (the one with the "under a buck" achievement)if you go up and down the elevator there is one item near a body that re-spawns at the bottom of the elevator and 2 items in the office re-spawns, so 1 item at the bottom of the elevator and 2 at the top, and if you don't pick them up but go up and down a few times these items get spawned next to each other so you can grab several in one go (elevator ride does take a while though...) |

| This glitch is also available in Isaac`s apartment right at the beginning of the game on Isaac`s bed the item there is random and respawns. I'm surprised that nobody else has discovered this yet. |
