Special Forces: Team X (or STX, if you prefer) is now available to download from the Xbox Live Arcade, offering up some cover-based third-person shooter action, with a unique map selection system that enables you to customise your own environments divided into three zones, with various pieces.

Boasting more than 100 map variations, STX supports asymmetric gameplay for 2, 3 or 4 teams across five frantic multiplayer modes. Co-op play between your teammates is positively encouraged with rewards, and you can customise your skills, weapon loadouts and character according to your battlefield tactics.

Special Forces: Team X even has a distinctive cel-shaded art style, and looks like a lot of fun. You can add STX to your download queue now for 1200 Microsoft Points. Check out the launch trailers below.

	Game looks pretty sweet, but with a huge backlog and a price of 1200 MSP...I'm not so sure.

	Won't let me download, says it's not available in my region. I contacted Zombie studios and Microsoft but nobodies interested. Ah well I'll wait for Dead Space 3. Lost 30 euro for them.

	Did not know anything about this until yesterday. Played the trial, found myself surprised at how well it handles. Bought it. A lot of customization options, funny game, the rag doll physics is hilarious. Such a silly game. I love the ability to execute enemies from behind. I hope the community holds up.

	Multiplayer XBLA games have too short of a lifespan to warrant the entry fee. I learned that on Blacklight Tango Down, worst day one arcade purchase ever.

	I would rather download on day one rather than wait for a sale price seeing how this game is all about the MP. Mindswell get on when the game is going to be at it's most popular ie the start of the life cycle!

	I'm loving this game so far, been excited for it since I saw TB's beta footage of him playing it, I highly recommend it.

	Definitely trying the demo. I found footage on Youtube and it looks like a lot of fun. Hopefully getting to level 40 won't be a grind.

	Tried trial... and... well i just dont know :( 1200msp + it was kinda laggy + only Multiplayer... i think ill play the trial again next week and see how its going because now i think every1 i played with was using trial aswell :D

	Played the trail as this game was on my game-radar for awhile and must say it looks and plays very nice, but just like most here my fear is that i spend 1200ms and the MP dies down realy fast. Would be bad having spend 1200ms and nobody is playing it anymore in lets say in a month or two.

	Whoa, good job Rich. that second paragraph told me more about the game in 10 seconds than I've heard in the past 6 months. I got Hybrid shortly after it came out for 1200MSP but that looked very fresh and they hooked me in with the beta. I was super pumped for that for the longest time. 1200 MSP for something I barely know about? After all these XBLA sales? A purchase is looking doubtful, but I'll at least try the demo.

	@ #9 I didn't bother with Gothan City Imposters after the BETA for the same reason I mentioned about multiplayer arcade games, I also didn't find it nearly as charming as the rest of the planet did. Counter Strike was also a waste of money, got that day one as well. The servers were problematic to say the least and Valve doesn't support console games for shit. I'll take this opinion to the grave, they've all been a mistake. Actually I will amend this slightly, Battlefield 1943 was great.

	Wow, the trial was fun, but most the games I played in were pretty laggy. I'll wait for a price drop, but by that point I'm sure people will have moved on to the next best thing. Sad.
