Michael Keaton is awesome, and given the right role will fucking rock it. Paul Walker as 47 just sounds retarded, but I guess he might do a decent job for all I know. I just can't see it. |

| Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a nice-looking movie that makes absolutely no sense if you haven't played the original game, but if you have, it's one of the all-time best videogame movies. The Spirits Within, however, not so much... |

why wouldn't they just stick with the original 47 who did an amazing job in the first Hitman Movie.. which was Timothy Olyphant there is absolutely nothing wrong with him being 47, and I think changing the character 47 to a totally different actor has to be the worst decision ever. I was really excited for a new Hitman movie, but after hearing this, I'm not to sure about it. |

If paul walker wants to be taken seriously then he needs to do hitman and make it gritty. Problem is his college kid looks. But if he really is serious about getting serious roles then he seriously needs to stop at fast & furious 6. 6??? seriously, stop now! But as Teco says just get statham to do it and it will be a classic. |

| Mortal Kombat is a guilty pleasure of mines, simply because of that song. I suppose The Tomb Raiders weren't that bad but Angie just isn't Lara Croft for me, if they ever reboot that series they need to cast Rebecca Hall as Lara. |

@13: Silent hill was okay I'll give you that one (though the sequel is utter garbage, anyone who thinks otherwise either has poor taste, enjoys crap, or otherwise somehow can't see the utter crap that is the "acting"and writing that is that movie) Mortal Kombat was good, but it was cheesy as hell. FF Advent children WAS awesome, but it was also animated which eliminates a lot of potential barriers to making a good film I haven't seen PoP, but I'm not expecting much. Honestly between that and john carter It looks more to me like disney practically made the same film twice (sure I know they are lots different, but visually it looks like more of the same). PoP as a PG-13 film? I can't see how that could work... |

After what the 5th game turned out to be, I don't care who plays 47. Either way, they're gonna give him emotions and stupid one-liners. At least I like Paul Walker. I say greenlight it and add explosions. I feel like this article is trying to make us mad about it but, c'mon, Aaron Paul as a hothead illegal street racer and Dominic Cooper playing "Dino?" It'll either be good or so bad that it's good. |

| I love how this article is written. Took a page right out of Game Informer for this one. Speaking of... How come when you write an article that is completely sarcastic in every way imaginable people actually get it and respond positively yet when Game Informer does it people completely miss the point, think they are legitimately serious, and just shit all over them? I especially dont get it because the majority of people on the internet are borderline fucking retarded while most people who actually take the time to pick up something physical and read it (albeit a magazine) can be considered intelligent by some level of society. |

Although the internet has exploded with this news, looking at it from a studio point of view, Paul Walker is an established actor, realtivley cheap, people know him and he appeals to the demographic. It makes sense to hire him and not Bateson cause no one will know him |
