| Please Konami, please do this. My favourite game series of all time. I'm currently playing all the classics while taking a break from the 360 so if they were to release Mirror of Fate on 360, I would be most pleased. |

| You know it annoys me that HD releases that i never would even consider are being made/thought about by devs... Yet the only HD collection and many other people want, that is definetly more in demand than this is a Timesplitters Collection. I'm looking at you Crytek. |

@6 What? for me, the only thing horrible with those games is the graphics.
I don't know why nobody likes these 2 games because they were so awesome. I cannot remember exactly how much time i've put in those games, but I know I've played them for more than 150 hours combined. |

I can't believe anyone actually owns a 3DS.
Also, don't care about this. Castlevania begins and ends at SOTN. The rest of the games before that were alright and horrible by today's standards. The rest of the games after that were carbon copies that were decent but added nothing new, or terrible 3D action games that about zero people in the world had fun with.
Don't want another, hope they spend money releasing a game that's actually good instead of riding the Castlevania name. |

| I agree w/ comment #16 that everything started w/ SOTN. That was clearly one of the best/classic Castlevania games of all time. There were also many others that I enoyed like Aria of Sorrow for the GB Advance, Curse of Darkness for the PS2, and enjoyed Lord of Shadows as well. This is probably one of my top 5 favorite series of all-time. I hope they at least do something before LoS2 comes out whether it be this or something else. |

| @16 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was actually quite good. I'm planning on getting Mirror of Fate as my first 3DS game. I'm hoping it turns out well, because I need a good handheld game for travel and I need a break from pokemon. |

I have no issue with this coming to consoles, but WHY the fuck would you announce this before releasing it for 3DS? It dooms the 3DS version before it has a chance and if it sells BAD, why would they port it in the first place, when the idea is "we'll port it if it sells well"? Then don't sabotage it.
@16 - Because the 3DS has good games. God forbid.
And SotN is overrated. At the end of the day, it's a copy of Castlevania 2's concept but less brutal. It still misses the entire point of Castlevania. It's a great game, but it has nothing to do with what was good about the series before and what the series should have continued doing, but with better graphics. That said, I liked the 3D games (except Judgment, which is AWFUL), and loved Lords of Shadow, so whatever.
But I have to agree that all the portables after SotN were carbon copies. It was like playing the same thing with new skins and slightly different abilities.
@#20 - Did you play the first PS2 Castlevania? Has the same kind of gameplay (but not as good) and predates God of War. I hate people calling it a GoW clone when technically, CV did it before GoW. How the hell else would you make a 3D game with whip action that wasn't redundant?
@#10 - Not just you. The games are kinda bad. They aged horribly. Still, I had fun playing the first N64 one back when it came out, and I'd pick it up again if on Virtual Console or XBLA. I think it has a so bad it's good charm to it.
@#12 - You really found nothing else you'd play on the 3DS? I find that hard to believe. And why would you not still get that version? I honestly like 3D way more than HD, which really just amounts to OMG MORE PIXELS. The game was also built as a handheld game, unlike Revelations, which was built as a console game, for a handheld. |

@23 Castlevania before SOTN is just bad now. It's not remotely fun. Back then it was little better than average.
I haven't played Lords of Shadow so I'll give you that it might be alright. 3D Castlevania hasn't left a good taste in my mouth. As you mentioned, Judgment just ruins everything. |

the 3DS version is just a "marketing scum". To me, LoS bring us something new, not about gameplay or graphics, but the "reboot" of this series is great. Why Belomond family cursed is just genius. If you take a second, since akumajo dracula (castlevania) or akumajou densetsu (dracula's curse), we never had a good storyline .... To be honest, the last Castlevania was Chi no rondo (PC Engine), after this last, followers never have ambiant nor storyline else... We've got the chance to play a great reboot, so enjoy LoS and forgot the rest.... |
