The case for the next Mass Effect 3 DLC is building, with the latest patch being data-mined to reveal a few clues as to what it might be. The data reveals that it'll apparently be called 'Reckoning' and will in fact be a multiplayer expansion that will utilise data from your single-player campaign, including progress and paragon or renegade levels.

This suggests that the DLC could possibly see you teaming up with friends to co-op it up in some of the campaign's key battles, although none of this has yet been officially confirmed. However, a leaked description unearthed on the Xbox Live Marketplace and posted on Reddit, neatly coincides with the data discovered by Clevernoob forum user TSA_383, and offers up more clues pertaining to the multiplayer expansion.

"The day of reckoning is nigh! The Reckoning Multiplayer Expansion brings six new never before seen co-op story missions to the game and new co-op gameplay modes. It provides four new maps to conquer and hazard variations of the Earth maps," reads the leaked description.

"It also enables reinforcement packs that offer new kits for the salarians, krogans, humans and volus. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Chakram Launcher, Blood Pack Punisher and Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle)."

These aforementioned weapons have been added to single-player already, so them making the jump to multiplayer seems perfectly plausible. Reckoning could be what was teased alongside an upcoming single-player DLC, with a full reveal of Mass Effect 3's next add-ons promised for mid-February. Check out the images again below.
