| after the hate they got for supposedly ruining devil may cry when they announced the look of dante i think this is perfectly justified. They made a fantastic game and it shouldn't be overlooked just because the look of the character is different. |

I'm sick of these comments where oh "These people hate the game because of the way Dante looks" OR "people who like this game sold out" etc
- This "war" is getting pathetic!!
- I for one hate the new Dante BUT that doesn't mean the game itself is bad, I won't buy the game, but I won't completely degrade on it either, I play a game in order to follow the characters, feel related to the character, that's why I loved the previous DMC's because of Dante, with his one liner's, his personality, his mannerisms, his over the top bad-ass style...this new guy isn't Dante, not by a long shot and the fact that Ninja Theory took a stab at the fans with the wig and then released a classic skin says everything!!
- If they had called this game something else it would have been fine, it has good solid company, very polished and the new direction is nice

| This game was god awful. The game had no challenge whatsoever. Easy on dmc 3 was harder then dante must die on this piece of shit. Not to mention every level felt kinda the same and all the characters were boring as fuck. |

@5 oh fuck off, and fuck anyone else still hating on this. I'm just glad it did as well as I wanted it to, I look forward to more sequels to this fantastic reboot. Ninja Theory did an excellent job, and this video shows it.
It's not a pathetic video, not in the slightest. It's made to tell all the people who thought there opinions on the new Dante mattered, this video shows that those people who refused to buy it because of that small reason meant absolutely zero to the games success. Good work Ninja Theory. |

| After so many people treating NT like dirt, I think they are totally justified to make a video like this. DmC was a huge success, (critically at least, we will see how sales go) and they have every right to be proud and shove it in the face of all these so called "fans" who haven't given this game any chance since the teaser came out. |

Absolutely fantastic game, combat wasn't as good as the previous titles. But the story and characters are absolutely leagues above the previous games.

| DmC is a fantastic game. I too was with those who hated on the game due to Dante's look; however after playing the game I find it really good. Good combat system, excellent music (especially by Combichrist! The heavy metal suits the hack-and-slash genre) and a very good plot. Cannot wait for a sequel. |

Funny how sales point a different picture. Glad this game isn't doing great after how they treated the fans.
And no. It's not about the flipping hair. It's about the fact they rebooted a superb franchise and made a good game but an average dmc game. I'm sure if they were to reboot halo or metal gear solid or a game you love you wouldn't be like this. |

I've seen so many games get low reviews but are cherished by gamers.
It's not often I see games with high scores fail to sell because of almost universal derision.
Oh sure I've seen stuff like CoD get a ton of hate, but with games like that the people who love it outweight the people who hate it. I don't get that feeling from DmC. |

| All the positive reviews don't change the fact that Ninja Theory pooped all over popular character. It's their stubborn attitude that's annoyed me, you only need to see the wig scene from the game to realize that Ninja Theory don't respect Devil May Cry's fans at all. |

| All you haters can now buy the DLC and play as your beloved Dante with "white long" hair. So now what? For anyone who has played this knows it is amazing. I'll admit I was a little hesitant, but what a great purchase to start 2013. This game deserves all the publicity, and positive scores it has received. You guys that are saying it is a good game but won't play because the hair thing still... there is no excuse for you people with this DLC. |

| My favorite part of all this is how people continuously shit on Ninja Theory when Capcom commissioned this game to begin with. If Capcom didnt want this game made it wouldnt of been made. If this is the direction Capcom wants to take then get over it. I personally think this game was amazing on all fronts. Gamers are way to fucking entitled these days. Just look at Bioware. If you dont like it then dont play it. Shitting on it is just a waste of everyones time. |

| the original dmc titles were built on the premise that it was a one of title that's why capcom and ninja theory had to reboot it, its because the original story and characters were obviously flawed, and it would have been to evident now because of the importance of these things in today's video games it would have been an insult to the originals that were built on amazing gameplay(witch is just as, if not better in the reboot.) Also story wise they dug them self's a huge hole what were they going to do next continue on from devil may cry 2, that would have tarnished the original series reputation. |

| I've only played the demo, admittedly. "Dante 2013" has grown on me a bit in terms of design, but he's such a jackass (insufferable kind, not smarmy like "classic" Dante) I can't really look at him beyond that. Judging from the assorted videos I've seen (including a playthrough done by a good friend), the game isn't all bad, but goddamn, I'm sure NT could've done a better job with this (especially with the writing... what the fuck guys?!) |
