i really need to dig this out and finish it off. plus i noticed sister site got 'year of the snake' trophies. either way a sequel would be good. :)

Sleeping Dogs is one of the most graphically advanced games ever made... on PC. I assume you are talking about the graphics of the 360 version. Much like Far Cry 3, Sleeping Dogs is a prime example of why we need new consoles (from a technical perspective). X360 hardware is almost a decade old now, and it's holding developers back.
But if you played the PC version you would have had your "GTA killer" as you put it. Personally, I still think GTA/Red Dead/Rockstar are in a class of its own, but Sleeping Dogs comes in second for my favourite game of that type, followed by Saints Row 1 in third. |

| i played on the 360 and didn't have a problem with the graphics. one of the most enjoyable games in a long time. sleeping dogs has great potential. |

| @3 well yea this is a xbox 360 website most things look better on pc but i cant afford to get a setup to play maxed out pc games so im stuck with the 360 |

| Sleeping dogs impressed me with it's melee focus, I'd abandon a gun kill to throw people into fridges, phone boxes or just to break their limbs. |

OT::: I'm only going to say that I hope the next console for Xbox won't be called Xbox 720. That sounds just ridiculous and a total cliche. Anyway I never played this game so I have nothing to say about it. :)

@13 - Nah, the campaign was forgettable and lacked identity. It took moments from classic cinema like the gunfight in the hospital (Hard Boiled) but refused to plagiarise it completely but without adding anything new.
I actually had some ideas for a potential multiplayer but I doubt anyone wants to hear them. |

| I was under the impression that Sleeping Dogs didn't sell we'll despite being well reviewed. I hope I'm wrong, but I know I've seen more than once that sales were far below expectations. |

| Consider Sleeping Dogs is really a True Crime game in disguise, I'd like them to take it to a different city. Personally I'd love to see an open world game set in somewhere like London perhaps, but since the name change they may be limited to asian countries so maybe something like Japan? |

To be honest with you all that Sleeping Dogs is great game last year that Square Enix released and year before Sleeping Dogs they released brilliant Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I wish Square Enix announce soon for their next big August game just like they did last year with SD and 2011 for DE: HR.
Gameplay and graphics is fantastic in SD. I hope United Front Games is in works with Sleeping Dogs 2 on next generation consoles but if it not then it should be new IP franchise start with then once it is done they should planning and in developing with SD 2 afterward. :D
Look forward for United Front Games's upcoming title. :D |

| Little Big Planet Karting? Please. Do some research at least. It was Mod Nation Racers and I owned it when I had a PS 3. Truly a great game and I would love to see it on 360. Sleeping Dogs however, got a bit tedious for me at the end though with all the stat grinding. Looked pretty at least. |

| @26 - Nope. Activision decided to turn a game already in development into a new True Crime game. Given the True Crime was incredibly tarnished after a bland first game and an apparently bug-riddled mess of a second, I can't see why they wanted to resurrect it. |
