The first game was passable and I finished it.
I played the second game for a few levels and just stopped. It was just so awful.
I'm not sure how they thought the franchise deserved a third game.

Well thank god Far Cry was given a 3rd outing because I thought Far Cry 2 was painful and frustrating, but now FC3 was my, and x360a's GOTY!

As time goes on I seem to find it harder and harder to believe that the majority of game developers know who they're catering for. I mean for instance why on Earth have they got four skaters in to play AoT: The Devils Cartel? Seriously? Do I want to hear their douchey opinions on video-games because they have so much prior knowledge in the area? No. EA sort it out. If these large companies continue to alienate their fanbases in such ridiculous ways, then eventally they will go the way of Silicon Knights. Long live the likes of Valve, Lionhead, Bethesda etc...

The split-screen campaign co-op is why I (and many others) buy these games, annoying B or C-list celebrities are not...
Keep the focus (and budget) on gameplay instead of voices nobody really wants to hear!
Still, I'll grab this day one, but only for the couch co-op...

Never heard of these guys. I dont know why ea use z list celebs to market thier game. Why not just release a video where the developers talk about different aspects of the game.

Funny young guys in video. Look forward this game and hope Visceral Games show new AoT game better then EA Montreal's AoT games. But EA Montreal is co-developed with VG. :P

I agree, Far Cry 2 was utter trash. It almost kept me from getting 3, but I'm SO glad I did. GOTY for sure.
Eh, I dug AoT, liked AoT:40th and will get this. Fun co-op games are hard to find. Everything is tacked on with stupid MP.

Um... if they were playing splitscreen co-op then why were they wearing headsets? I doubt the game was being played so loud that they could only hear each other with a mic.
I much prefer the "Your mom hates Dead Space" trailers Visceral did for Dead Space 2. At least those were mildly entertaining. The crappy background music combined with random skater dudes with very little gameplay did not make a good trailer.
Visceral should have just had some developers walk you through a level and show off some features.

They were plugging Skullcandy headsets, nothing like (not so) subliminal advertising...

@10 - Exactly. Why were they wearing headsets if they were playing split-screen co-op...?
And do people really talk that way? Illiterate fucks.

Does that trailer really make anyone want to play this game more? For me it's kind of a turn off, mostly because of the random skater kids and boring music, but also because they want to let me know I won't enjoy it much if I play by myself.
I know I'll probably be getting it nonetheless when it's on sale a few months after release (if the reviews are good), but this marketing effort certainly isn't helping it. EA has done better in the past.
