If you purchased Rock Band Blitz, you already have these tracks playable in Rock Band 3.
With that said (as I have Rock Band Blitz)... NOTHING FOR ME THIS WEEK. |

| @9 Soundgarden did not license their songs for transfer to Rock Band 3, so you can ONLY play it in Rock Band 2. |

In the event anyone asks, Cult of Personality is the original master, NOT the rerecord that guitar hero III had.
@9 only 79/84 tracks from RB2 export to rock band 3, "Spoonman" being one of them (now with bass solo), and "Give it Away," which will be released as standalone later. Both of the tracks come automatically with Rock Band Blitz.
I believe Harmonix is supposed to alternate weeks between a bunch of blitz tracks and new content until all the blitz tracks are released. |

There's valid reasons to be releasing this DLC ala carte. Biggest reason was/is that they were having to sit on 25 tracks of songs up until the Blitz launch instead of the usual process of license, make track, get approved by online service, release. That's a lot of labor from the past year that they weren't getting paid for so they're taking a break to even it out for now.
People are saying this is the coming end of DLC, but I just don't think so. |

| @13. It is likely coming to an end soon. HMX hinted it in there forums, they have some new DLC planned for the next 3 months and soon after that it will probably come to a halt. People just aren't playing these games anymore and they are working on some new IP's. |

| Here I was thinking it's been long enough they should be working on a Rock Band 4. Making vocals a part of all-instruments mode is one of the changes I'd like to see (nothing worse than doing work for a song and not getting any points to show for it). |

It's not that they're winding down to a stop
It's that these songs are popular, and were already licensed. They were repurposed for Blitz.
Late November through February is the WORST time for digital purchases. So no one brings their a-game to that period. Look at Age of Booty, it got bloody buried coming out in December despite being awesome
So crap being released in this period: Not unusual

That Superunknown album is very good.
I was hoping that of all the bands to get a three-pack to include the single from Rock Band Blitz, it would have been Soundgarden.
