| to artamus, kerrigan died in starcraft and was resurected (sp)in the expansion and was a hero for the zerg. BTW the zerg is a type of army you can play in that game. |

@ xLUNCHTREYx, I do know what Zerg and Protoss are :P I just never played that game when i had it :D
For some people this idea is great, but maybe for the people that don't have Gears1 they'll make the characters available for maybe 100msp each ? |

| I hope they keep the "linked" ones kept to the easier achievements, just in case a person new to the series c an pick up the original and get them all. Other than that, I think this is a great idea. |

| Well this sounds like a great idea but it seems to be off to a bad start, sure the achievements listed a easy to get but all the characters that they unlock are already in GOW without needing to unlock anything. They are basically saying you have to play gears 1 to get some characters that were in the original free of charge(not talking price). If they were smart they would offer unique and new characters to unlock, not old ones that we all have seen before. |

Isn't linking achievements to other games against Microsoft
s policy for achievements? Isn't that why getting to rank 1 in PGR3 didn't unlock the buy everything from the shop achievement? |

| @Zee: This isn't linking Achievements to other Achievements, it's linking Achievements to unlockables, just the same as Vegas 2. |

| This is an amazing concept for sequels it keeps people interested in the origianal and true gamers get some benifit for getting achievements, which has been a downfall of acievements all along. finally somone thinks of a use. |

| What I don't understand is people saying "I have Seriously, I best get something for it!" You have a damn Achievement AND Gamer Picture. People with General or Beans Bullets Bandages don't get anything other than an Achievement for their efforts, so stop saying EPIC should give you something. |

| i hope seriously doesn't have an unlockable tied to it just because it's such a ridiculous achievement in the first place. but they should have unlockables for harder achievements like instead of just beating act 1, beat act 1 on hardcore or insane. |

Carmine and Kim I understand...but RAAM died in Gears of War. Please tell me he does not become like Genshin in Ninja Gaiden 2. I do NOT want to fight the same boss 4 times before I'm done, please!

| I will break Cliffy B's legs if I can't play as Carmine. I switched gamer tags because I didn't like my earlier one. I got up to 1160 points in Gears of War on my old gamertag. I better be able to play as Carmine "eventually." |

how can you guys be saying that the characters suck? if these characters are dead, then they will be for online only. GoW 1 had both Carmine and Kim in online play. Same as RAAM. I don't see why everybody is like "oh they are dead, they shouldn't be able to be in GoW 2."
Epic is linking their games together so that this makes GoW 1 still have some replayability once GoW 2 comes out. |

Nice, lthough my Gears discs broke, i managed to get all of the above before it broke. its a tad too easy though.
