Killer is Dead

Here's some new screens for Suda 51’s new game, Killer is Dead. These new screenshots show just how insanely cool it looks.

The Killer7, Shadows of the Damned and No More Heroes creator’s new project stars Mondo Zappa, a 35 year-old contract killer in a snazzy suit and tie. His boss is Brian Rozen, a world-class executioner with an augmented body.

In typically kooky Suda-ian twist, Mondo’s left hand is a gun that can tranform into a drill, which is used to absorb enemies’ blood to charge an “Adrenalin Burst” attack.

The game’s chief bad dude is called Victor. He’s, get this, decked out like a composer, capable of manipulating emotions through song. He also has a green face and glowing eyes.

According to Suda, Killer is Dead will retain the essence of Killer 7 and No More Heroes. Feast your eyes on the visuals below, courtesy of Famitsu.

	i never did finish Killer 7 but what i did play, i really really enjoyed so ill definitely keep my eye on this one

	As someone who was a massive fan of Killer 7, I will definitely snap this up. Looks to be like a pseudo-Sequel.

	Look so much fun. I loved Killer7, No More Heroes series, Shadows and silly and fun game called Lollipop Chainsaw. All those games got their good and fun. Killer 7 and No More Heroes is better Suda 51's games. This new IP game look like and reminder all of us for Killer7. This is bought some memorable from it. Plus I love Suda's 51 arkworks with their games. Beautiful toons and arkworks mix. :) Really look forward Killer is Dead.

	well, definitely looks interesting to me. its always nice to see a studio that will put out something different from the mainstream generic cod crap. can't wait to see more on this game.

	"I don't see the HUD taking up all of the screen and everything isn't smooth and typical looking, I'm not interested." If you think like this, I'm sorry for you. But don't feel bad, Suda 51 isn't for everyone. For the fans, however, this is an instant buy.

	Suda=buy Though truthfully I've had my fill of No More Heroes (From recent talk it sounds like it'll be similar in gameplay) but if this returns to the crazy philosophy and insanity of Killer7 I'll be ecstatic. Oh, and we need some sort of luchador cameo in this.
