| I like the ability to target stages while doing Agent Hunt, but not a fan of this trend of "Just unlock it from the start" They're doing with Agent Hunt and Ada's campaign. These things are rewards for as you play the game, I think they should stay that way. |

| Got this on release day, still only finished Chris's and Leon's campaigns. Not sure if it was just the QTE's that killed it for me but they were a big turnoff for sure. |

| And agree with the others. I don't get the low scores and complaining. Yes, its not the great corridor scare fest that was early RE's but this is still a great game. It takes a while to get used to, but once you do, this is a great game and I'm having a hell of a lot of fun playing it. |

| This game totally blows. The only update that could save this would remove QTE's, make ammo scarce, include puzzles and items that require you to use your brain and make the game a true Resi title, not a 3rd person Call of Duty with bio-humans wannabe. Thank god the demo came out so I saved my money for far cry instead! |

RESIDENT BORING....SIXXXXXXX, the films = shit, the games from 4 onwards = shit. This series is no longer what it was, it is a disgrace to even be using the same franchise name. Call it, TENTACLE ZOMBIE HEAD USING GUNZZ 3. And let RESIDENT EVIL die after you butchered it capcom. |

| I understand where people are coming from but what are they really complaining about? Its not the same? If they kept it the same for every game in the series then we would be playing RE1-3 over and over again but in different sceneries. They had to evolve with the times. In my opinion the series is still great. I love all the changes. I love zombie games and movies but if they kept it that simple it would be boring. But i respect all your opinions. Some like it some dont. Thats cool. To each his own. I just love inovation and what the have done to the series. Maybe its just me hahaha |

How can anybody who has played the original games say that this is a good game, yes Leon's campaign started of as quite old school RE but soon changed into Call Of Evil with Defend this area with endless zombies coming till you hit the right number to continue on, then oh look I'm now in a building that I now have to kill X amount of zombies to continue. Yeah real Resident Evil like? This game is pure BS and should not carry the name RE as it is a disgrace to the series Capcom should hang there heads in shame, no great puzzles to use your brain on just pointless waves of zombies/BOWs. This game is worst than than the last 4 Call Of duties combined. The only way they could make this game better is by recalling it and destroying as much evidence of it from history to reduce the tarnish to the series! |

@9, actualy, 2 of the resident evil films are quite good, and another ok, the ok one is the first resident evil movie, it didn't deviate onto it's own thing to much and could of taken place in the games universe... the other live action... urh... The 2 good movies are degeneration and damnation though. Very enjoyable :3 This game... this game was ok, but it wasn't resident evil. There's no puzzles hat require thinking, no real challenge on the hardest mode (played that first and other then a few ai things, completed with a breeze). Now, I've only played Leons campaign so far, so maybe I'm missing all the good stuff... which i highly doubt, seeing as leons was meant to be the survival horror pleasing chapter >.> I don't get why capcom are unlocking their content for the game that was an un-lockable.... the point is you play it to unlock it, I still don't get why they made Ada's campaign un-locked, that was a good incentive to play all 3 campaigns :/ I just hate lens boss though in this game, the last chapter, the boss is just stupid and does not know when to give up, why the heck can he change from a T-rex back into human? That made absolute 0 sense :/ Gah, this game has annoyed me on so many levels, Capcom just took everything that made resident evil what it was, and threw it out of the window :/ All bar the zombies. |

@10, What most people don't like, is that the series doesn't make you think anymore, there atmosphere or terror and suspense is gone. The only horror really left in the game now, is gore horror at the most. :/ The series has been changed into just an action game, that one of the best survival horror games has changed it's outlook completely and turned it's back on why people liked it doesn't make sense to me, they wanted to change to keep with what's in? They could of done that easily and kept it a hard game that makes you think when moving away from the fixed camera. |

| I enjoyed playing this co-op, but just like Dead Space 3 co-op its more of a laugh than scary. Hopefully due to all the backlash caused by this one they'll make a real Resident Evil game. One things for sure, they won't stop making them. |

| I dont care what others think, I like RE6 and I love RE5 (playing it again right now). If you like the old games then play the old games, some of us like both. I like the old, I like the new. They are fun games, no one is making you buy it. This games has a ton of replay value and I like the additions of the title updates (camera, and stage select). |

I guess its a matter of opinion. I buy games to enjoy them not to criticize everything thats changed or different. If that was the case everybody should make careers as critics lol. Why get mad at them for changing and evolving? Theres plenty other games to play out there if nobody is happy with this one. But i do understand all your points but i guess its how look at it. @16 i agree with you 100% |

| @2 I see what you're saying but if you go over to a friends' place it's nice just to jump into the non-campaign modes right away instead of having to re-earn them. I had to do half the damn Arkham Asylum story at a friend's place just to unlock some of the fighting challenges all over again. |

"Resident Evil 6 may have it problems, but you can't accuse Capcom of not trying." can't argue that. i wish they put as much effort into the game's dlc as they did in fixing the problems though. 3 multiplayer modes that nobody wanted was pretty disappointing, and made even worse by tacking on achievements so that you can't get full completion without them. good single player dlc i'm interested in. a tacked on multiplayer mode however, not so much. |

I have been an RE fan since the original and I think RE is amazing. All I am seeing here is people calling it bad because it's not a survival horror and apparently have never played the shooters they're comparing it to either. And tbqh, the demo does do the game justice. Especially since it skips the tutorial, and Jake's is near the end of the game when it is harder. The camera was my only problem and it's been fixed. I have a hard time believing you even played it if you're calling it terrible, and if you DID, I can safely assume you actually let your nostalgia for slow, clunky 'horror' cloud your enjoyment of a great action game. If you don't like action games? Fine. That doesn't make the game bad. I can get by being upset at the loss of puzzles, but again, the lack of them does NOT mean the game is bad. Being a bad RE does NOT mean a bad game, guys. Also, this patch update info was posted ages ago. Nothing new here. |

| What I like are the people bitching it's not "Survival Horror" anymore. I get it though because it's what put it on the map but people need to realize it's origin name is BIOHAZARD. Therefore, as long as there is a biohazard-style storyline they really have NOT changed from the real formula just the genre and people need to grow up or shut up. |

RE 6 is one hell of a game never understood the backlash. It's a great action adventure game might not be survival horror but it's still one hell of a party, if one dislikes QTEs a lot that can be a problem but with this patch, they have also removed that thorn. On a side note RE series has evolved in time and this evolution has saved it, e.g see what happened to fatal frame and silent hill in mean time. People would have gotten tired of the tiresome formula and series would have withered away. Just give it a thought... And I loved every RE to date except RE 5, which was good not spectacular but the 6 is now my personal best. |

@28 Althouh 25 was rude, so not taking his side. But your assumption is completely off, reviewers digged monster hunter and street fighter in past and recently highly reviewed Dragons Dogma and DMC. Only exceptions were sfxt and re 6, both of which weren't received poorly infact were majorly rated positive just not high enough. |

RE 6 Great Action Game - Shitty Resident Evil Game. I miss the good old days of having to use my brain to complete the games. Having to think about whether or not I should waste this bullet on this zombie or save it for later. I still own every game in the series and I still go back and play RE 1 and 2, but RE 6 was a huge letdown for me as a fan of the original. I have said this many times before, but I think they should stick with the new camera system and go back to solving puzzles, and reading files that evolve the story as well as give you hints on what needs to be done. I hated that RE 6 got rid of the files and just had them in a separate menu. The puzzles in RE 1 and 2 where such amazing masterpieces and with today's graphics and controls those older games could be so much better. Also QTE needs to go away for good. |

The two biggest problems with this game were the QTE difficulty and that close up camera. Both of these have been fixed now. I have still yet to even start this game but I was wondering if anyone could briefly explain how the "QTE Assist" actually works? Does it do it for you or does it just lower the difficuluty? The QTE's even on normal bothered me untill someone mentioned to rotate both analog sticks which was the only way I was finally able to do alot of them while at a friend's house. This is also the first game I have ever played where I felt the QTE's were difficult enough to actually hinder the progression of the game. As far as having these modes unlocked from the start, I don't agree with that at all. |

@37 QTE assist basically displays the QTE and if you don't press anything it doesn't fail and just allows the game to continue. So in another words it just does it for you. |

@37 "The two biggest problems with this game were the QTE difficulty and that close up camera. Both of these have been fixed now. I have still yet to even start this game " then how do you know that those were in fact a problem? also, how do you know that the title updates did in fact fix them successfully? the answer is that you don't know until you play the game. as someone who actually played the game on day 1, the qte difficulty was fine. there was no problems at all with them. the camera positioning, while bad at certain points, was perfectly fine for 95% of the game |

| I like this game and I was actually surprised to like Chris' campaign the best (Jake's the least) because of so much negativity I've read on the forums at GameFAQS and here regarding it. The BOW that Chris and Piers fight in Chapter 3 of his campaign was something of a nod to the first RE and I thought that was pretty cool. I'm kind of indifferent towards the QTEs littered throughout the game so the assist option for other difficulties doesn't really do anything for me. However I really like the addition of Stage Selection in the campaigns. Makes farming skill points a little more manageable I suppose. |
