| I hope it comes out over here, means I'll have to buy another copy of the game though - damn my eyes! |

Definite purchase for me this - one of my favorite games from last year, and this should give me some impetus to finally finish the rest of the achievements off. Word on the grapevine is that the 25th might be the release date worldwide - it's unsubstantiated at this stage though so I guess we'd have to wait and see how that pans out. |

| Really need to go back and finish this. Got a fair amount of the way though, but once other games I also wanted to play started releasing it found it's way back onto my shelf. |

| The gamerscores aside, I really really loved this game. It makes me somewhat sad to see that we still have to wait so long for the expansion, though on the other hand it gives me hope for a badass expension! I can not wait for this, simply one of the best games of the last year (even if it got some flaws). |

@2 I can understand achievement hunting. I don't do it anymore, but when I did, it helped me get a lot more out of games than I otherwise would have. I can understand wanting to get 100% on a game. Wanting to get 100% on games is just a more extreme form of achievement hunting. What I simply cannot understand is why people will buy a second copy of a game they already have if that copy of the game will have a separate achievement list. I simply cannot understand why people will buy a game - regardless of if they actually want it or not - just because it has easy achievements attached to it. Do you really think people care about your gamerscore that much? I don't want to sound like a dick or anything, but people like you truly baffle me. |

@7 If you enjoy the game then why not? I tell you now, I'd have bought 10 copies of Dark Souls if they had seperate achievement lists and gone for the 1000 on them all. Plus, DD isn't exactly a quick and easy 1000. |

| This is one game ive been meaning to get for a while. Hoepfully they may do a physical release with all the DLC in the summer when ive got some free time to sink a few hours into it. |

| @7 I assume he means a standalone disc of the expansion.. He's not going to buy another copy of the game, he is just hoping that the DLC is on disc. I think the expansion for Dragon Age was released on a separate disc as well. I do agree with what you said, but I don't think that's what he meant. |

#7 I can see how you feel about it. But I am one of achievement hunters in world and if my gamertag is hack by hacker or gamertag problem that I wouldn't use it anymore then I would get every games and re-do them again from my gamerscore list. That is other example. I hope this DLC coming shortly after Japan. :) |

I actually hate gamerscore. I compulsively try to keep my ratio over 90% but honestly I'd rather achievements just go away. It destroys the incentive (for me) to play old games, even ones that I loved, while I instead try to get my last 50 or 100 GS doing something repetitive and stupid in a game that I'd normally be completely done with. Farming the collectibles off MINAC in Borderlands 1 Claptrap DLC... getting Gold on all the races in Forza 3... stupid crap like that. Honestly achievements in and of themselves aren't the problem, rather crappy achievement lists and game developers that don't realize they are supposed to be fun (not saying easy, but fun for sure). |

@16 Not to sound rude, but then what the HELL are you doing on this site???? Achievements are optional and should not stop you from playing old classic games. Achievements are an amazing incentive to keep playing a game and will hopefully never go away, though no reason to not be able to enjoy games without them. On topic: I just bought dragons dogma a few days ago and it is absolutely incredible. Can not wait for this :) |

@18 He's just overreacting, while he also didn't fully read your comment (same as you did with the article, no offense). That said, he means he'd like to see the DLC released as a standalone disc here as well (it's gonna be on a standalone disc in Japan), so it will have its own additional 1000 gamerscore (which makes no sense; regardless if it's DLC or its own disc, the additional gamerscore will still apply). |
