If it's the ultimate collection, then it'd also include Far Cry 1.
Nice to see another series being put back out there, but I'll pass on them. I could buy each of the far cry series separate on this generation (bar 1) for less then this'll cost, and not a massive fan of splinter cell, though if I'm in the mood, that'd be the most likely of the two I'd buy. |

doubt we will see all the Cells, ubisoft have history of putting half hearted collections in one box. No doubt it will just be a double pack of Conviction and DA.
If anyone wants to pay me 40 quid for that far cry collection ill happily knock it together for you , as you can get all 3 for a fraction of the price. |

i picked up the triple pack for PC from gamestops digital download service when they were either having a crazy sale, or made "a little faux pas" in listing it for £5..not bad price for all 3 far cry games a few weeks after far cry 3 came out :D
not interested in splinter cell though, they've always bored me to tears |

| Further proof that this gen is ending soon, they have already released an Assassin's Creed Anthology. Although I would expect them to hold off on the Splinter Cell collection until after Blacklist - assuming that is still going to be on 360. |

@9 - Don't try to be funny by insulting the guys punctuation, when you aren't great at it either. A few examples;
- The word "doubt" at the start should have a capital "D".
- "I'll" has a capital "I" and an apostrophe.
- You're supposed to put a space after a comma, but not before.
- If you're asking someone what their name is, the correct word is "your", not "you".
- Ubisoft is a company name, and should have a capital "U".
None of us are perfect, so let's just comment on the article instead of trying to cause arguments with other members.
OT: £39.99 would seem like a good price for the Far Cry Collection, but Far Cry 3 is already pretty cheap, and you can pick the other two games up for much less. |

| Unless the achievement list is different, I won't be getting the Far Cry one (already own them all). I am very interested in the Splinter Cells though and the new players this would attract to FCIP. I'd love the original Far Cry to be in it as well. |

| I can't see why they are refusing to release a Splinter Cell collection for the Xbox 360. I mean Splinter Cell HD collection never got released on Xbox 360! It's not like all Splinter Cell games were Playstation exclusives. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is the only one I never played and was thinking of downloading it recently from Games On Demand, but since this collection is coming to PC, I might wait and hope that it's coming to Xbox 360 with added achievements for the first 3 Splinter Cell games. |

| I didn't realize the Splinter Cell HD collection hadn't come out for 360? I got it in a bargain bin for $10 for PS3. It's worth it just for Chaos Theory. The first 2 are good but the controls are not that great. Weird how Conviction didn't come to PS3 but the HD collection didn't come to the 360. |

| As much as I love pre-Conviction Splinter Cell, I'd much rather have a map editor function released for this gen's Double Agent. Not that it'd ever happen, but a "create your own Splinter Cell" sounds a lot more appealing than going through the games for the umpteen millionth time. |

Meh. Part of me is happy as this avoids that problem where game's become 'Rare' once production has stopped, and people sell them for inflated prices on the internet. For example, NFS:MW (2005) and Bully: Scholarship Edition.
On the other hand, I have had little interest in Splinter Cell since Chaos Theory, and found Far Cry 2's free roam boring. FC:IP was ridiculously hard in my book, leaving the only one I'd really want as Far Cry 3 :L |
