| Sounds a lot like how the Wii does stuff, no regulation, which accounts for all the garbage they get. |

| That guy understands the need of having decent games. Xbox live Arcade has more that a few BAD games. Still i hope they release "The Dishwasher" on it that demo was good |

They can't even offer quality games on XBLA titles, so these will be much worse than those. To be honest, I'm don't give a damn about XNA, or even XBLA these days, for that matter. Overpriced garbage with online communities that for the most part, die after a week. |

| I agree with Weller. It's bad enough that Wii throws piles upon piles of garbage on its user base. The 360 at least offers demos, but that still won't be enough when anybody can make some crap in five minutes and upload it for the entire world to get suckered into buying. |

| Um, what about game review sites and magazines? People can publish whatever crap games they want, but you don't have to buy them. |

| #8's got it right. We already have websites that review XBLA games, so we're bound to have a place pop up that we can use to tell what XNA games are good, too. You just have to be smart about it and to a bit of research. |

| I agree. I don't want to play a game designed by some schmuck that I have no clue what it is. The effort in trying to figure out what is good would far outweigh the benefits. |

Amen! Microsoft should definately start roadtesting the game to ensure that you cant release complete crap on their console. Unfortunately it will never happen - because M$ doesnt care if they get crap games on their console - as long as there are stupid people out them to buy it and pay them some royalties... I agree with #8 - thats what review sites are for... but theres a difference between having a site to show a games good vs bad points - and having a review site giving game 1 or 2 out of 10 because its just an abysmal title that is purely a money spinner. The hope being it would force developers to put some effort in! Look at superhero games... they always have such a potencial for being an AWESOME game... and then they ALWAYS disappoint because they are just developed on the ch |

Regulation would be nice, but having it without them is better than not having it at all. #'s 8 & 9 are right. Anyways, your bound to find a few diamonds in the rough. |

why charge for XNA games in the first place? they're made by amateurs for the most part i, for one, will NEVER purchase one. i'll just wait on the good legit games, like new mega man!!!!! WOOT |

| Well remember M$ says they are starting to pull games off their shelfs when they don't perform well. It's likely XNA games will be held to similar yet to be disclosed standards. |

| Also if they are smart about how they run XNA, they will offer domos for their games like XBLA does. That way we can avoid buying garbage if we see one with a interesting picture or a quirky title. |

I don't even download arcade titles anymore unless I've played the games previously. It's always a waste of time just to demo them even. Hopefully microsoft will take some of the titles with lower ratings off the service like they had announced a while back. JUST SAYIN' |

Sorry about the repost. post #16 If you have played demoed any of the xna titles you'd know they are far superior to the garbage board games that get released every week. Now don't get me wrong there are some great games like pac-man C.E. and cloning clyde but the majority of all xbla games are horrible. |
