I'm still in 2 minds about this game. I want to get it but the fact that almost everything I know from the past DMC games have not been included in this...
Might be a rental for me.
However, despite what people say, free DLC is always good, no matter what it is. |

| @13 - Deadline. There might have not been enough time in production to get it onto the disc. That's probably why it's day 1 DLC and free. |

| I think the reasoning behind this is people dislike the Bloody Palace Mode achievements, so, by offering it as free DLC, they have an excuse not to give achievements for it. Idk. |

it makes me laugh, people rightly complained about capcom releasing on disc dlc and charging for it ( bastards) but now they seemed to have learned from it and are doing it free, yet people complain about that too, i say good on them, hopefully theyve learnt and it will start a trend among other developers.... time will tell.
as for bloody palace being included before, it is a shame for those that may not be able to download it, but it still seems a step in the right direction for day 1 dlc, hopefully capcom will release a ( cheaper ) version later with added content... again, time will tell....... |

Makes you wonder what else is locked away and they will charge for when they talk of a survival mode being included as a free download.
I don't buy for 1 second it's cos of time constraints as if you think what goes into Bloody Palace...same stage just different enemies.
Seams like Capcom is trying to butter people up by 'giving away something for free' to cover up for all the disc locked content bull shit they pulled over previous games. |

Well Capcom released half great, half good, half medicore and few crap games in this generation of consoles. I must said.
We will expect this year to seem to have lots of Capcom games like...
Remember Me, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Monster Hunter 4, DmC, Lost Planet 3, rumours mention maybe new Dead Rising and port version of Resident Evil: Revelations from 3DS version onto consoles this year also Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is coming this year (weren't sure if it is Dragon's Dogma's first big DLC or it is 2nd series or something for retail disc game either) and there more Capcom games on way this year. It's seem Capcom's big year of their business. :P
Look forward DmC next week then Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U in this March then Remember Me coming this May and Lost Planet 3 should release around Q2 2013 as well I hope Resi Evil: Revelations for consoles port of 3DS version. Those is my most look forward Capcom games of 2013. ;P |

Guys it's Capcom, while you can complain it should have already been on the disc, they aren't making us pay for it. While this is normal for anyone else, it's a step in the right direction for Capcom.

I understand both sides of the arguement with the DLC. I dont see why it can't be on the disc and available for all (Not everyone has the internet). Then again, Capcom could have charged for it like so many other companies...

| I'm looking through all these comments, and the same question keeps popping into my head. before I do, I'll admit it right now, I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to discussions of this nature. I don't exactly keep up with news of this sort. that being said, why are you guys complaining when more than half of you are most likely going to by the game anyway? it kinda removes weight from your complaints when you know something's wrong and you buy it ANYWAY, doesn't it? before you all tear into me, keep in mind, this an honest question not meant to insult anyone.
