New BioShock Infinite Screens Threaten You With a Book to the Face

There's only four of 'em, but they're from BioShock Infinite and therefore instantly worth looking at. We are of course talking about the latest selection of screenshots from Irrational Games' journey into the clouds of Columbia, showing more of the game's lovely looking environments and shooty action.

In the shots you'll see Elizabeth threatening to clout the game's hero, Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt with a big old book, Booker wielding a a chunky machine gun and leaping through the air with his skyrail traversal tool poised and ready to strike a hapless foe below.

There's also the eerie sight of a cavernous temple full of candles, home to people on their knees praying. Scary stuff. You can check out all four new BioShock Infinite screens below. The game's out on March 26th, 2013.

	Loved the first Bioshock, loved Bioshock 2 a little less, but this one's looking like it's going to refresh the franchise big time, fingers crossed.

	The game looks so good! Very glad I preordered the Song Bird Edition even after everyone was touting how bad the game would supposedly be from a few of the talent leaving the studio. A few men don't make a game (at least not this one) and apparently the talent left was able to deliver on all fronts without them!

	I haven't been this excited about a game in a long time, probably since Bioshock 2 came out!

	@2 I felt exactly the same way, the first one was amazing the second wasn't nearly as good. I am not sure if it's because being a big daddy was stupidly under whelming or just the whole game in general, I had no plan to buy this game after seeing many series have a great first game and progressively worse sequels. I will give Infinite a shot though since it is being made by the first studio.

	My favourite game series bringing a whole new story into my life. I loved rapture and hope columbia creates another fantastic world for me to explore

	This is why 2k games and square Enix rock single player it's all good this time round no multi player I've booked my songbird edition can't wait

	I thought the last 2 bioshocks were average to poor at best. Hopefully this one changes my mind.

	@9 Your right those are def PC screenshots as they usualy do this to tease us with high quality textures and graphics fooling alot of gamers into the idea those are actualy xbox360 screenshots.

	I love Elizabeth's blue eyes. She is so dreamy I know I will cry if anything happens to her, but yeah this game is going to be so awesome, not going to get the songbird edition since I spent 150$ on BL2 a few months before it was announced but I will enjoy that amazing artbook that comes with the special edition(Name escapes me)

	@11 Then you wouldnt know a great game if it say on your face and took a shit. Bioshock is one of the greatest franchises on the xbox. So quit playing your kids games and play a real game.

	Agreed with previous comments that the pictures look great. I predicate Game Of The Year for 2K Games for an outstanding effort on this game. This little fish looks like he just had his cherry popped!
