| You can thumbs down this all you want, but I've never liked Minecraft. However, I can see why it's so successful. Maybe I'm just not creative enough to play it right. |

| I'm gonna assume that the 360 version thats pushing these numbers isn't counting the DLC that seems to be slowly trickling in from the PC thats really the only thing stopping me from DL it is all the addons that will probly be in a GoTY/complete collection version. |

| @11 it isn't DLC, it is title updates. They are free so unlikely to get a goty edition as it will download all the updates when you buy it and run it for the first time |

Dang, 5 million. The PC version hasn't even sold 9 million, so that strikes me as impressive for a version of the game which hasn't even hit what PC is.
I'm wondering if the 360 version is drawing more people to the PC version. It's much nicer here, we have weekly snapshots of future versions of the game, easier updates (Microsoft doesn't ask people to give monies, obviously, but mind you Minecraft has a few free updates.), modding, mapping, and more. |

| I'm not surprised. My brother got my a 1600 point card just for this. I wish I had gotten it sooner. Great for the wife too so I can see the sudden burst of people getting their friends to play here. |

In fairness, I've only recently got in to the creative aspect myself. Before I just enjoyed the surviving and dungeon-crawling aspects, now I'm gradually making structures.
Though, I only give a few minutes of creative mode at a time to it; I find I tire of it if I spend too long. |

I had no idea what it was... I knew of it but never actually played or had even seen in played. I got it 'just to see what the fuss was' and I played for 50+ hours! I had fun, and it was worth it for me. I like survival type things, and the creative part was sick. I had an entire castle and multiple outposts with roads BEFORE creative mode.
That's a lot of digging. ;) |

@10 PC version doesn't have "missions". Have you even played the PC version?
Besides, there's going to be at least a 1 year (possibly longer) delay before the Xbox gets the latest PC update. |

I think he's on about adventure maps. At least, I hope so.
It would be nice to have some adventure maps released to be fair, although I'm still waiting for the supposed Texture packs we were going to get. |
